The lies were thick and fast all week at the Democratic National Convention, but never so blatantly as they were in Vice President Kamala Harris’ acceptance speech.
The Democratic presidential nominee accused her opponent, former President Donald Trump, of wanting to cut Social Security and Medicare (he has not); being weak on border enforcement (he had it under control before President Biden and Ms. Harris took office) and sending an “armed mob” to the Capitol on Jan.… Continue Reading

Representative Nancy Pelosi, the former U.S. House speaker and one of the most prolific gaslighters in history, let out enough gas this week to power the West Coast.
Asked about the Democrats’ choice of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to run for vice president alongside presidential nominee Kamala Harris, she emitted: “Tim Walz I know very well. He served in the House. To characterize him as left is so unreal. It’s just not — he’s right down the middle.… Continue Reading

In 2008, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama said he wasn’t surprised that people from “small towns in Pennsylvania, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, clung to [their] guns or religion.” This wasn’t a compliment. He thought those people were “weird.”
In 2016, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called the same group of people Mr. Obama disparaged a “basket of deplorables,” She went on to say we were “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic [and] you name it,” just plain “weird.”… Continue Reading

The Democratic Party’s handling of its presidential primaries over the past three election cycles has raised significant concerns about the internal democracy of a party that prides itself on democratic principles. The cases of Bernie Sanders in 2016, Joe Biden in 2020, and Biden’s forced step aside in 2024 exemplify a pattern where the party’s leadership has moved against the will of its members, leading to accusations of undemocratic practices.
2016: The Sanders-Clinton Controversy
In 2016, Bernie Sanders mounted a formidable challenge against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.… Continue Reading

You have to give media commentator Ana Navarro credit. She found a career loophole. Anything but profound or insightful, Navarro has continued to find work by capitalizing on her gender, ethnicity, and her willingness to wear a Republican label while criticizing every conservative policy idea.
It provides networks that want to avoid airing any actual conservative content the ability to claim they’ve “balanced” their coverage with a “Republican,” despite the fact that Navarro voted for Hillary Clinton, hosted fundraisers for Joe Biden, promotes transgenderism in the military, advocates for the killing of preborn humans, and opposes 2nd Amendment rights.… Continue Reading

For years, those of us in the media have known that National Public Radio could also be called National People’s Radio.
It’s no secret that tax-subsidized NPR has leaned left since its inception in 1970. But the network had some good reporting and used to keep its most radical elements mostly in check.
Public radio even features discussions pitting conservatives against liberals on various issues. I did some of those when I worked as a cultural policy analyst for the Family Research Council and Concerned Women for America.… Continue Reading

The next time you’re fondled at the airport by a TSA agent, look around. You may very well see foreign nationals ushered through security without proper documentation and disregarding every TSA rule. While Joe Biden pretends that millions of invaders from 150 countries are a natural occurrence, his administration is using taxpayer-funded nongovernmental organizations to disperse tens of thousands of them throughout the country.
This cannot be allowed to continue. Why won’t Republicans pledge to put an end to it by refusing to fund one more penny of this scheme with the budget deadline looming?… Continue Reading

Last week, in this column, I argued, “What happens in Israel will not stay in Israel.” I went on to warn that “the next shoe to drop may be in Galveston rather than Gaza.”
Is this warning a bit over the top, or is there a reason to take it seriously?
Well, if Solomon was right when he said, “As a man thinketh, so he is,” let’s consider what the people who fancy themselves the moral conscience of America and the West actually think and say.… Continue Reading

In his column, Donald Trump Owes Pro-Lifers (September 29), William McGurn has made some important points about the significance of the pro-life movement in electing Donald Trump President in 2016.
First, however, Mr. McGurn mentions Trump’s recent attack on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for signing a six-week abortion ban. Trump is calling it a “terrible thing.” The Florida law is called federalism in action, Mr. President.
Mr. McGurn correctly reminds us of the two major events which were crucial in providing overwhelming, and probably decisive, pro-life support for Trump in 2016.… Continue Reading

“Donald Trump threatened democracy by casting doubt on the results of the election.” Sound familiar? It should; seeing as how the mainstream media trumpeted it from the rooftops during the tumultuous aftermath of the 2020 election.
“Hillary Clinton threatened democracy by casting doubt on the results of the election.” Sound familiar? Probably not. The mainstream media has generally avoided drawing similar horrendous implications from similar election-doubting statements—when Clinton or other left-leaning politicians and media were the ones speaking.… Continue Reading
