Don’t look now, but the resistance to woke tyranny is rising rapidly, and not just in the United States.

The so-called fact-checkers are energetic defenders of President Joe Biden — almost like they're his siblings or his nephews. No cockeyed critique of Biden is silly enough for them to forgo the urgent need to "check." PolitiFact gave us two examples on Feb. 10. Both were "Pants On Fire" warnings, but only one was about pants.

This week, the U.S. Senate confirmed President Biden’s 100th federal judicial nominee, reaching that milestone faster than his two predecessors. At this point in their presidencies, Trump had 88 judges confirmed and Obama had 67. The GOP should abandon taxpayer-funded school choice and focus on empowering parents rather than expanding the state. We all make mistakes, and the GOP will be making a big one if they decide to enact universal taxpayer-funded school choice policies that will empower the government, ultimately creating dependency upon government programs, expanding government control, and leading to inflation.

There is no time like the present to bury this evil forever.

We are thrilled to have heard Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) give the official Republican response to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union last night. She rightly pointed out that the dividing line in America is between normal and crazy. In fact she used the word "crazy" three times. She also used the word "woke" twice.

Over the years of writing this column, I’ve been chastised many times for sounding like I believe Christians can vote only for “right-wing conservatives.”

“You should be more open-minded,” some have chided, “after all, Jesus wasn’t a Republican.”

How should I (or you, if you tend to agree with me) respond?
