If there were any doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic exposed widespread corruption in America’s health care establishment, a federal lawsuit should put it to rest.
Filed by the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana, Murthy v. Missouri accuses the Biden administration of censoring medical views it dislikes.
So, what did the American Medical Association do? The doctors guild lined up with the censors in an amicus brief.
That’s right. It’s their way or the highway, science be damned.… Continue Reading

How bad is the situation at the Southwest border?
I attended a hearing Thursday of the U.S. House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border and Foreign Affairs on the consequences of the current “catch and release” policies to observe how members of both parties address an issue that troubles American voters.
The situation at the border is so downright scary, Jessica Vaughan of the pro-enforcement Center for Immigration Studies testified, that Mexican cartels now are making more money from human trafficking than drug trafficking.… Continue Reading

The real Vladimir Putin is not a nationalist, but rather a cunning creature of the Soviet KGB who saw the supposed collapse of Soviet communism a great geopolitical catastrophe, explains former CIA officer and leading national-security expert Clare Lopez in this interview on Conversations That Matter.
Lopez, who has spent many years exposing the communist and Islamist threats to the United States, argues that Putin sees weakness in America and across the West as immorality runs rampant.… Continue Reading

Something dawned on me a few weeks ago. I am far more intrigued and interested in writing about and discussing the frustrations and failures I perceive occurring within the modern Republican Party than I am the absolute fecal show that exists on the left side of the American political spectrum.
Having committed itself to a policy agenda facilitating the destruction of human life, human nature, and the human family, the modern Democrat Party has disqualified itself from serious moral consideration to men and women of a grounded moral conscience.… Continue Reading

If you don’t know what the after party is, you should, because it could determine who wins the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate and the presidency this year.
Indeed, this movement is so insidious and potentially so powerful that it could determine the direction of the United States for decades to come. If you care about issues such as border security, confiscatory taxes, sex trafficking, how we educate our children, religious liberty, the right to bear arms, private property, energy independence, women’s right to have their own athletic competitions, drag queens grooming first graders in our public schools, and whether or not you can buy a gas stove, you should care about the after party.… Continue Reading

It’s nothing short of amazing how fast gambling has been embraced by professional sports. After all, Las Vegas is the host city for Super Bowl LVIII.
Something like 50 million people BET on the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Plus, the broadcast ad lineup featured once-taboo spots for several betting services.
Gambling used to be radioactive for sports. The professional leagues and their college counterparts wanted fans to trust that outcomes were honest, not tainted.… Continue Reading

The Hail Mary pass. It’s a desperate, last-ditch attempt by a football team to score a touchdown in the waning seconds of the game. The pass usually comes from near midfield, well outside of the typical scoring zone, and, as the name implies, often requires a form of divine intervention to be successful. It rarely works, but when all else seems lost, why not try it?
With the NFL’s big game scheduled to take place in a few short days, the attention of football fans everywhere will be focused on two things: the game and the commercials.… Continue Reading

President Joe Biden seemed to forget the name of a Catholic parish and confuse two foreign presidents during a Thursday evening press conference that was intended to defend the president’s memory after Special Counsel Robert Hur released his report regarding the investigation of Biden’s handling of classified documents.
In his report, Hur described Biden’s memory as “hazy,” “faulty,” and “fuzzy.” The Special Counsel did not recommend criminal charges against the president, warning that Biden would “likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”… Continue Reading

This past week, as we watched the unfolding stories of illegal immigrants beating police in New York, chaos on our southern border, and the Middle East teetering on the edge of World War III, one of the most insidious bits of news that might have escaped your attention is called “the after party.”
What is this “after party,” you ask? It’s a curriculum funded by Democratic billionaires that “evangelicals” such as David French and Russell Moore are promoting in churches across the country.… Continue Reading
