Did You Receive Irvin’s Attack Mailer on Bailey?

Written by Fran Eaton

Every political campaign’s dream is to get potential voters to glance at piece of mail they find in their mailboxes, then their hearts pound quicker if those voters stop and read the mailing cover. Then they hope the voter will open the piece and read what they want those voters to know – either good stuff about their candidate or bad stuff about their opponent.

And that’s all besides the great money the printer gets for doing the mailer, the piece designer gets for putting it together and the political consultants commonly get for, well, being campaign consultants.… Continue Reading

From Hunter’s Laptop to the LGBTQ Mouse and the White House

Written by Robert Knight

There are many column-worthy topics, but I’m going to limit this to the Hunter Biden laptop, President Biden’s troubling gaffes and Disney’s latest plunge into “wokeness.”

The Washington Post, like The New York Times, has finally admitted the validity of Hunter Biden’s laptop 16 months after the New York Post broke the story. Like Big Tech, they suppressed it until after his father, Joe Biden, was safely ensconced in the White House.… Continue Reading

Wake up, America — They’re Trying to Destroy Us

Written by Laura Hollis

Throughout our nation’s relatively short history, powerful people — kings, communist dictators, tribal tyrants, warmongering corporatists — have always resented America. The reason is simple and biblical: America’s success was proof that free people who exercise self-restraint grounded in Judeo-Christian principles of human dignity and ordered society can govern themselves and flourish, unencumbered by totalitarian control.

But we have grown weak, dependent and easily manipulated. In 2008, when Barack Obama was first running for president, I remarked on the similarities between those proclaiming Obama to be a messiah of sorts and the ancient Israelites’ demand for a king.… Continue Reading

The New York Times’ Fake News Has a Russian Accent

Written by Robert Knight

The New York Times has a problem with Russia. And the truth.

For more than three years, the Times pushed the false Trump-Russia collusion story, making the paper an accessory to what amounted to an attempted coup against the 45th president.

For its sordid role, the Times, known as “the Gray Lady,” won a Pulitzer Prize in 2018 for writing on “Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign.”… Continue Reading

Wait, Wait… David Axelrod is Complaining About The “Nature of our Times”?!

Written by Peter Heck

There were more than a few storylines to track after one of the most intransigent liberals in the history of the U.S. Supreme Court, Stephen Breyer, announced he would be stepping down at the end of this term.

First, the timing of the announcement seemed suspect. Justices have historically waited much later in the term to declare such an intent (Kennedy, Souter, O’Connor). That early timing led to widespread speculation that Breyer likely gave the White House the courtesy of a wary heads-up to avoid them being taken off guard and allow them to give a full and proper vetting of potential replacements.… Continue Reading

Corrupt Democrats And Their Fake ‘Justice’

Written by Robert Knight

The wheels of justice sometimes grind very slowly.

Or not at all.

In our current system, it appears that the only thing that matters is which party you belong to.

Corrupt Democrats almost never face punishment for their crimes. It doesn’t matter how glaring the evidence.

IRS official Lois Lerner retired with full benefits after getting caught using the IRS to target conservative groups such as tea parties during the Obama years.… Continue Reading

Cowardly Biden Hides from the Press on Afghanistan

Written by Tim Graham

The very supportive media environment around President Joe Biden has turned suddenly sour over this administration’s shoddy handling of Afghanistan. This debacle shouldn’t be buried and ignored by the press, like they’ve tried to do with the border crisis. But Biden’s gone back to hiding as a strategy, as he did in his 2020 presidential campaign.

For four days, the president disappeared from public view. Then he gave a speech on Aug.… Continue Reading

Jimmy Carter Is Redeemed

Written by R. Emmett Tyrell

Looking back on the contradictory pronunciamentos uttered by President Joe Biden so solemnly over the last few months on the subject of Afghanistan, what has struck me is how inane they show him to be. When he was affirming that everything in Kabul, Afghanistan, was hunky-dory or when he was sounding the alarm, he was inane. His statements were vacuous. How did this man become president of the United States?

Oh, I know he was up against an amazingly weak field of candidates.… Continue Reading

Democrats Are Not the Working Class Party

Written by Walker Wildmon

For years, we’ve been told that the Democratic Party is the party of the working class. Democrats have traditionally been associated with the workers’ unions and government programs that are aimed at assisting middle- to low-income families. I would submit to you that this association is built on faulty ground.

Democratic elected officials in Washington have made a few major policy decisions that have had tremendous negative effects on middle-to low-income families.… Continue Reading

Team Biden Intends to Never Let Its Manufactured Crises Go to Waste

Written by David Limbaugh

My major takeaway from President Biden’s joint address to Congress is that he and his handlers are continuing to employ the Democrats’ primary strategy from the Obama years: Never let a crisis go to waste.

To scare the American people into accepting his reckless spending proposals, Joe Biden is leveraging the pandemic, which means he is framing it as still hot, raging and dangerous, while immodestly taking undeserved credit for the progress that we’ve made.… Continue Reading
