A week has passed since the general election and still, questions loom – among them, who and why? Election fraud has left the outcome of the presidential race (as well as other national and state contests) up in the air, and serious doubts remain as to the integrity of the voting and tabulating process. Many Christians are also wondering why God has allowed such confusion to happen and where is He in the midst of this political mess.

While the final results of last night’s election may remain unknown for days or weeks, five or more states that are still counting ballots. Our continued prayers are needed today and throughout the upcoming week for honesty and fairness to prevail. Pray that voter fraud of any type would be exposed. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 20:23 that the Lord hates unequal scales.
In every election cycle, there is only one poll that matters, and that is the election results. That has never been truer than in 2020. Why should we have paid attention to the polls? The 2020 General Election is here! Voters in Illinois are heading to the polls to elect the next President, U.S. Senator and numerous other legislative offices. One section, however, that is often overlooked are judicial candidates. With the recent onslaught of pervasive rulings that have come from various judicial branches, it is painfully clear that this portion of the ballot cannot be overlooked.
Alexander Hamilton wrote in Federalist 78 that the U.S. Supreme Court would be the weakest branch of government because it had “no influence over either the sword or the purse.” Why then the panic and flaming hair on the Democrat side of the isle with the elevation of Amy Coney Barrett to that Court? What gives? She claims to be an originalist, and by definition an originalist ignores his or her own policy preferences and yields to the intention of the U.S. Constitution’s drafters. This should bother no one, but it really, really upsets the Democrats.

Yesterday, President Trump posted a series of tweets concerning his pro-life convictions by reiterating his stance on the abortion issue and drawing attention to Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s position.
