Tell Your Lawmakers We Need Gas Tax Relief

Illinois families are constantly being squeezed by state lawmakers, and this is especially true at the gas pump.

State Representatives Regan Deering (R-Decatur), C.D. Davidsmeyer (R-Jacksonville), and Ryan Spain (R-Peoria) are calling for immediate relief through House Bill 5738, which would suspend the state’s sales tax on gasoline for six months. At current prices, that would mean roughly 20 cents per gallon back in the pockets of Illinois families.

King Pritzker Clutches to His Crown in a Desperate Power Grab

When COVID-19 first emerged as a major issue in the news, Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL) seized the opportunity to grant himself more power by declaring a state of emergency. Was Pritzker really under the impression that COVID-19 was such a major concern that he had to use these emergency powers? Perhaps in the beginning his concerns were legitimate, but after about 23 months, I think it’s obvious that his motives are not merely COVID-centric anymore: He wants to grasp as much power for the executive branch as he can before the COVID panic wears off (setting a precedent) because he is a corrupt, power-hungry control freak like so many other liberal politicians.… Continue Reading

Election Update: What We Know So Far

The final results of this week’s election may remain unknown for days or weeks with five or more states still counting ballots. Our continued prayers are needed today and throughout the upcoming week for honesty and fairness to prevail. Pray that voter fraud of any type would be exposed. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 20:23 that the Lord hates unequal scales.
