The Democrats’ Impeachment of Trump Will Live in Infamy

Written by Jonathan Clay de Hale

A date that will live in infamy.” ~President Franklin D. Roosevelt,
addressing the nation on December 8, 1941, the day after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor

Those words apply equally to the partisan vote in the U.S. House of Representatives on December 18, 2019 to impeach President Donald J. Trump. Not everyone will see the deed as infamous, but at least half of American voters will. Historians 50 years from now will agree that the attempt to impeach this president was politically motivated, did great damage to our system of government, and was an unprecedented abuse of power.… Continue Reading

Much Ado Over Not Very Much

Written by William Murchison

A history professor I once studied under tended to offer weary responses to technical and highly dispensable questions of the sort that arise in weary seminars. To wit: “But what’s that got to do with the price of eggs?” Or, more pointedly sometimes, “the price of eggs in Arkansas?”

I thought of this aptly characterized boredom threshold as I watched the impeachment — um — hearings on Monday. Hearings? Snorings seems more to the point: a canopy of mingled objections and arguments and the preening of elected officials who know well enough they are on television.… Continue Reading

Operating Above the Law

Written by Robert Knight

“No one is above the law,” U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said when announcing the start of the impeachment process against President Donald J. Trump.

She should have tempered it with: “unless you’re a Democrat.”

For starters, literally hundreds of Democrat-controlled jurisdictions operate as “sanctuary cities,” flouting the law by refusing to cooperate with federal immigration officials.  Nothing ever happens to the Democrat politicians, just the crime victims at the hands of criminal aliens who are released instead of being turned over to immigration enforcement officers.… Continue Reading

The Democrats’ Election Interference Projection

Written by David Limbaugh

You know what doesn’t pass the smell test in the Democrats’ sham impeachment crusade? Their main beef is that President Donald Trump abused his power to interfere with a presidential election (2020), yet that’s all they have been doing for the last three years.

Interference with a presidential election (2016) was also their allegation with the Russia-collusion hoax. Oh, my, how they revere the integrity of the election process.

Remember U.S. Rep.… Continue Reading

Schiff’s Leaky SCIF

Written by Robert Knight

This past week the Democrat media went ballistic over Republican congressmen and women “invading” the secret basement room where Adam B. Schiff is stirring his pot o’ impeachment soup.

Washington Post fake conservative Jennifer Rubin’s Oct. 23rd column was titled, “So much for ‘due process’: Republican mob crashes secure hearing room.”

Yes, they did, last Wednesday, showing that some of the Trump backbone has been transplanted.

Mr. Schiff, a California Democrat who chairs the U.S.… Continue Reading

If Only We Could Impeach the Left-Wing Media

Written by Trevor Thomas

In order to remove the U.S. president, the vice president, federal judges, and other federal officials from office, Article I, Section II of the U.S. Constitution gives the U.S. House of Representatives “the sole Power of Impeachment.”  Article I, Section III gives the U.S. Senate “the sole Power to try all Impeachments.”  In the history of the United States, the U.S. House has initiated impeachment proceedings dozens of times; however, only 19 individuals have faced actual Articles of Impeachment.… Continue Reading

Nancy Pelosi’s Prayers

Written T.R. Clancy

An ardent, prayerful, and moral Nancy Pelosi has been called from sitting for her holy-card portrait to lend her aid in getting the president impeached — and the nation torn apart in the process.

She’s been on TV constantly, lecturing America that it’s the moral burden of Democrats to undo the 2016 election by any means necessary.  The U.S. Constitution, she keeps saying, demands it.  She just never mentions where.

But even as she expends herself, Mother Teresa–like, for the good of humanity on the impeachment crusade, she can still serve other mission fields as well.  … Continue Reading
