Liberals love to insist they’re on the “right side of history,” and their confidence crests in the liberal dominance among historians. Just as the liberal media dominate our evaluation of day-to-day developments, liberals count on their historians to dominate our evaluation of the decades behind us.
It’s not just historians but our taxpayer-funded storytellers, like the insufferable PBS documentarian Ken Burns. On the day before President-elect Joe Biden‘s inauguration, NPR’s “Morning Edition” presented him as an American treasure with no partisan bias.… Continue Reading

Republicans have been stereotyped for years as the party of “old, rich white men,” which Democrats have exploited to win over young female voters. The greater number of Democrat women elected to Congress as compared to Republican women was used against Republicans. For example, in the 2018 Primaries, a record 102 women were elected/re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, and out of that number, only 13 were Republicans.
The left-wing women on Capitol Hill are so confident in their power that some have coined the term “squad” for themselves, as if they were big-shot celebrities.… Continue Reading

Over the past several weeks, millions of Americans took part in the 2020 General Election which determines our president for the next four years. During this election cycle, citizens voted for candidates for Congress, state legislatures and various other local offices. In the U.S. House of Representatives, notable (and extremist) Congress-critters were re-elected to their seats, such as Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Eric Swallwell (D-CA), and Sandy “AOC” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Yes, Alexandria Occasional Cortex (hat tip Andrew Klavan) easily won re-election in her overwhelmingly left-leaning district in New York City.… Continue Reading

Illinoisans and all other Americans who have watched in dismay at the growing power of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), her leftwing collaborators, and her fawning devotees who are rioting in the streets—also known as Harris/Biden voters—should be deeply invested in congressional races around the country. If we help the campaigns of good candidates and get to the polls, we have a chance to increase GOP representation in the U.S. House and retain GOP control of the U.S.… Continue Reading

Bob Avakian, chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA (RCPUSA), has endorsed Joe Biden for president.
Mr. Avakian, who has led the party since 1979, says he doesn’t particularly like Mr. Biden, but that electing him is necessary for “the overthrow of this system, as the fundamental solution to the continuing horrors this system causes for the masses of humanity.”
That “system” is our self-governing republic with its constitutionally-guaranteed rule of law, property rights, the freedoms of religion, speech, press and assembly, and free market economics.… Continue Reading

Wow, these Maria cookies made by Goya sure are crispy. And only 25 calories each.
We’ve got a boatload of Goya products in our pantry now, one of our pushbacks against the Left’s increasingly aggressive culture war on America.
Goya Foods came under attack merely because its CEO, Robert Unanue, visited the White House and made some positive comments about President Trump. The Left has called for a boycott of the company, which specializes in Hispanic foods.… Continue Reading

Commentators came out of the woodwork to ridicule President Donald Trump for allegedly turning his July 14 press conference into a campaign rally (and for being unpresidential). So what if he did?
They objected that he veered into other topics when he was supposed to be talking about China and Hong Kong. Horrors!
The press corps, of all people, has no standing to complain about topic drift at presidential press conferences when it routinely uses such events to ask questions unrelated to the announced topic.… Continue Reading

This week is ending with some very good news for the Trump campaign and for every true-red Republican running for office. An explosive book was just released on June 30 by a “climate scare” leader in which he confesses to and apologizes for the deception environmentalists have perpetrated against the entire civilized world.
In the book Apocalypse Never by bona fide far-left environmentalist Michael Shellenberger, he exposes and apologizes for the mountain of climate activist lies that a handful of scientists have been trying to expose for years.… Continue Reading

Late in April Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee for the 2020 presidential elections, acknowledged that he is ready to embrace the Green New Deal aimed at making sweeping changes to America’s energy spectrum.
This signals more danger to the American economy, which is already reeling under the pressure of the coronavirus lockdowns.
There is hope the economy will recover from this coronavirus slump, but not if the nation implements the Green New Deal.… Continue Reading

One fallout of the COVID-19 crisis is its severe thrashing of our economy. Not only have all the impressive economic gains of the Trump administration evaporated, but we are now adding to our national debt in scary ways. I hope that all the bailouts are temporary means to solve a temporary problem.
To use an analogy: One of the saddest things about a midlife crisis is that permanent damage can be done to “solve” what turns out to be only a temporary problem.… Continue Reading
