You’re Not Webster: Our Disrespect For What Words Mean

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

In a recent interview, I was asked a simple question: “What’s wrong with the world?”

If you were asked the same question, what would your answer be?

Maybe you’d say it’s the selfishness of identity politics. Perhaps you’d mention that Big Government is overbearing. Or you might stress education, energy or the economy, or things like socialism, communism, racial animus, nuclear proliferation, terrorism and war.

While all these cultural pathologies are obvious, none of them made it to the top of my list.… Continue Reading

Why Did Speaker McCarthy Keep Pelosi’s House ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ Office?

Written by Daniel Horowitz

Is it too much to ask that nearly 250 years after the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, we finally treat people equally?

For decades, Republicans have engaged in a drag race with Democrats to pander to the gods of “diversity” and affirmative action rather than supporting a pure meritocracy in which all public policy and legal decisions are 100% blind to the physical identity of a human being. However, over the past few years, there has finally been a great awakening among conservatives, largely impelled by the radical push for “critical race theory” and “diversity, equity, and inclusion” programs, to shed their fear of being called names and rather pursue truth, equality, and justice in a color-blind meritocracy.… Continue Reading

As COVID Hysteria Fades, Climate Hysteria Rises

Written by Robert Knight

Run for your lives. Again.

The U.N. has issued yet another global warming report that essentially says we’re doomed unless we revert to mud huts, subsistence farming, veganism and rickshaws.

In fact, we may be doomed anyway, even if we drive all our gasoline-powered Fords into the ocean and walk home.

The latest panic comes courtesy of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which issued a voluminous report on Monday warning us that it’s all over but the crying.… Continue Reading

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Should be Second to Biblical Unity, Equality, and Truth

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

Last week I wrote an article about DEI and argued that the political agenda of “diversity, equity, and inclusion” is broken, inconsistent, and self-refuting. My premise was that while these words may sound good, they lead to their polar opposites in the hands of today’s progressive demagogues and pedagogues.

More to the point: On the Animal Farm of contemporary politics, diversity now means division, equity means “some are more equal than others,” and inclusion demands that if you don’t parrot what’s popular, you will be excluded.… Continue Reading

Still Fighting the Good Fight vs. Amendment 1

Written by Nancy Hayes

On November 8th of last year, Illinoisans went to the polls and voted on Amendment 1. This constitutional amendment passed on an official vote from Illinois citizens with a total of 2,212,999 yeses to 1,555,929 nos.

What is Amendment 1?

Amendment 1 is a proposed constitutional amendment that adds a new “constitutional right” for government workers to organize and collectively bargain. According to Wirepoints, Amendment 1 “cemented public sector union powers into the State Constitution.”… Continue Reading

Biden Is Vilifying Efforts To Protect Children

Written by Robert Knight

I had thought that President Joe Biden could not sink any lower than his bitter, Third Reich-style speech on Sept. 1, 2022, at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall. That’s when he projected himself as a sweet angel of light while labeling MAGA Republicans as “extremist” and a “threat to democracy.”

But Mr. Biden outdid himself last Monday on “The Daily Show.” He came out for sexually mutilating children, disparaging those who would stand in the way of such horrors.… Continue Reading

“Insurrection” vs. Numerous Subversions of the American Left

Written by Trevor Thomas

With U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s release of thousands of hours of Capitol surveillance video footage to Tucker Carlson, and Carlson’s subsequent airing of the footage on his popular FOX News show, it’s more clear now than ever: What the American left did to Trump, on COVID, on crime (especially the ANTIFA/BLM riots), at the border, and the like, was FAR worse than anything that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.… Continue Reading

The Invisible Hand Behind the Silicon Valley Bank Bailout? Green Energy Venture Socialism

Written by Daniel Horowitz

Venture capital is a risky and rewarding business that, in a world of Adam Smith’s free market, would accurately predict, in most cases, the most efficient investments for creation of wealth and the betterment of human life. Venture socialism, on the other hand, shields investors in start-ups from all risk by funding their projects with both monetary and fiscal stimulus from the government. Now, those counting on taxpayer funding to augment their personal wealth portfolios know that green energy start-ups are “too big to fail,” just like the big banks in 2008.… Continue Reading

Trump & DeSantis Target “Woke” Education on Road to White House

Written by Alex Newman

Former President Donald J. Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are both focusing heavily on education policy in the run-up to the 2024 election, suggesting the issue will take center stage over the next two years. DeSantis is already on the warpath in Florida, as Trump vows to wrest control of schools from “radical left maniacs” and “pink-haired communists” in his second term.

Among other tactics, both men are vowing to ramp up conservative defenses in the ongoing culture war within schools as public education becomes increasingly radicalized — and unpopular with parents desperate to stop the sexualization and indoctrination of their children at taxpayer expense.… Continue Reading

What the Heck: Whoopi, The Best Women Are Men, And Capitalist Chicken Sandwiches

Written by Peter Heck

I’m not ashamed to admit that I didn’t know Whoopi Goldberg was even back on the daytime gab fest The View. Last I had heard, she was sidelined after making foolish and racially buffoonish comments about the Holocaust. But apparently that was like a year ago. Time flies when you’re doing anything but watching The View, I guess.

Anyway, it’s nice to see that she’s been back making a fool of herself over other topics she knows nothing about as well.… Continue Reading
