I know that abortion apologists have come to believe it is their strongest counterpoint to say, “You are pro-birth, not pro-life,” but it is not. At all.
The bizarre statement is utterly false, of course, given the overwhelming numbers of Christian and pro-life adoption agencies, care centers, churches, missions, and foster homes that nurture hurting and abandoned children. But to demonstrate how morally repugnant of an argument this is for the left, suppose for a second that it was a true statement.

The fury of leftists is a constant today, and it’s not just because they hate President Donald Trump. Despite all their dreamy talk of compassion and love, they seem to be a miserable lot.
Democrats recaptured control of the U.S. House of Representatives [last] week, and leftists are already grinding their teeth over Trump and salivating at the prospect of putting him and Justice Brett Kavanaugh through investigatory and impeachment hell for the next two years.

They call their movement “Blexit.” And they come from the Democratic party’s most loyal voting group. If the group keeps growing, the Democrats are in trouble.
CNN’s Don Lemon has found himself in the middle of a controversy for claiming, in the wake of a shooting in a Kentucky supermarket, that “the biggest terror threat in this country is white men.” When criticized, Lemon doubled down, claiming that “the evidence is overwhelming.”
It isn’t.
In the wake of the recent election in Illinois, it is easy to feel discouraged and frustrated. While the blue wave that was predicted to sweep Democrats into office on the federal level wasn't as large and impressive as many were predicting, here in Illinois, we got soaked with a blue tsunami. Illinois Democrats will now have complete control of state government.
No matter how politically fractured the nation may seem, I believe that liberty-loving citizens of all ideologies can unite and agree:

Earlier in her career, Mrs. Barnette was an Adjunct Professor of Corporate Finance and Economics, and also worked as an analyst for two major Wall Street firms. In the age of Trump, the American media insist that freedom of speech is in danger because they somehow consider mocking journalists a suppression of free speech. Now imagine if America had a law where you couldn't mock Christian doctrines without facing a fine. The press would again denounce the curtailment of free speech but now you'd also hear the cries of "theocracy!"
Bruce Rauner, the incumbent governor and leader of the Illinois Republican Party, has severely damaged the conservative cause and has battered the GOP brand in inconceivable ways over the past four years. He not only lied to the voters about not having a "social agenda," but he has also lied to members of his own party's leadership and to the Catholic Archbishop of Chicago. A man is as good as his word, and Rauner's word is untrustworthy. Plainly speaking, Bruce Rauner is a traitor to the Republican platform.
“The evidence is overwhelming,” insists Lemon. But is it, really? There are several reasons why it is a false claim that “right-wing extremists” are a bigger threat to Americans than Islamic jihad terrorists. “Lemon pointed to a recent Government Accountability Office report that shows that since the 9/11 attacks in 2001, far-right violent extremists have killed 106 people in 62 attacks in the United States, while radical Islamist violent extremists have killed 119 people in 23 attacks.”
Highlights from the recent Call to Pray observance in Springfield are the focus of this week’s Illinois Family Spotlight. IFI is partnering with Family Research Council’s Watchmen on the Wall to assemble pastors and faith leaders at the state capital, on a regular basis, to pray. In a display of unity in the body of Christ, pastors came from churches throughout Illinois to praise God, confess our corporate sin, and petition Him for His continued blessing on our land.
