How Long Can CNN Justify Keeping Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy?

Written by Peter Heck

If I hadn’t watched the clip twice, I wouldn’t have actually believed what I was seeing. CNN anchor Brian Stelter, the man who hosts a program called Reliable Sources no less, stared at me through the camera in the most serious tones he could muster. Discussing the upcoming days in the impeachment inquiry, Stelter motioned noticeably at the screen next to him and cautioned,

“Some people are going to insult your intelligence in the days ahead.”

The graphic he was pointing to was a screen split into quadrants, featuring Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Tucker Carlson, and Sean Hannity.… Continue Reading

CNN Seems Blissfully Unaware That They Are a Punchline

Written by Peter Heck

Feverishly covering the story that noted left-leaning, pro-LGBT news anchor Shepard Smith had abruptly left Fox News after 23 years, CNN’s “senior media reporter” Oliver Darcy expressed his stoic concern about what this meant for the future at Fox:

First of all, I understand the potshot at Fox. Darcy is attempting to sustain a career at a supposed news network that, far from being Fox’s rival, is struggling to even compete with the ratings of Hallmark Channel, Investigation Discovery, and TLC in primetime.… Continue Reading

The Corruption of the GOP

Written by Laurie Higgins

In a recent appearance on The Journal Editorial Report, Republican economist Arthur Laffer (of “Laffer Curve” fame) unintentionally revealed the rot at the core of the GOP. In an astonishing statement, he waxed exultant at the prospects of Democrat Jared Polis winning the gubernatorial race in Colorado (which Polis did). Laffer is thrilled because Polis has the right economic plan. For those who don’t know, Polis is openly homosexual, “married” to a man, and supports every lousy pro-homosexual legislation that a sexual anarchist can conceive.… Continue Reading

JEB! on the Form of Families

Shrugg

Written by Laurie Higgins

Conservatives who are considering voting for Jeb Bush might want to query him about what he said to Sean Hannity yesterday, January 7, on Hannity’s afternoon radio program:

The three things that matter for people to get out of poverty is [sic] graduating from high school and being college- or career-ready; having work, working rather than non-work; and having two-parent families that are organized to support and love their children in whatever form it comes.

“Hillary is a liar.”

This was Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr.’s response to Sean Hannity when asked about Hillary Clinton’s disgusting, and completely out-of-context, charge that he committed treason by encouraging LU students to defend themselves should Muslim terrorists, like the “San Bernardino Two,” ever attack Liberty University. Clinton, a woman intimately familiar with the elements of treason, made her defamatory accusation on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

While addressing nearly 13,000 students, faculty and staff at Liberty’s convocation late last week, Falwell encouraged those 21 and older to avail themselves of LU’s groundbreaking, perfectly legal and clearly much-needed concealed-carry policy.… Continue Reading
