The Irresponsibility of Jussie Smollett

Written by Jonathon Clay de Hale

When Jussie Smollett’s account of being attacked first broke at the end of January, I watched with interest but didn’t say anything. It seemed a bit cartoonish: two white guys wearing MAGA hats giving a gay black man a beat down in the middle of Chicago on a night of sub-zero temperatures, yelling racial and anti-gay epithets, dousing him with bleach, tying a noose around his neck and proclaiming, “This is MAGA country!” You couldn’t have scripted a better scenario for a hate crime in the age of Trump.… Continue Reading

The Most Important Thing You’ll Read About Kevin Hart and the Oscars

Written by Peter Heck

I know my title may be a bit presumptuous but something dawned on me as I watched the Kevin Hart being unceremoniously forced out of his gig as host of the Academy Awards show: the same people who for years have insisted that Bible-believing Christians are sour, stuff-shirt, legalistic prudes have been projecting.  It’s a little embarrassing that it’s taken me this long to figure it out.

The Kavanaugh Hearing and the Galling, Teeth-Grinding Hypocrisy of Democrats on Criminal Justice

Written by Daniel Horowitz

Written by Todd Starnes

Hollywood wants President Trump to sleep with the fishes. They want him dead – decapitated – his bloody entrails splayed across the Rose Garden for all of the world to see.

A who’s-who of actors and directors and musicians want him to suffer the most agonizingly brutal and gory death in the history of assassinations.

Johnny Depp is the latest star of stage and screen to flirt with the idea of murdering President Trump.… Continue Reading

Written by Michael F. Haverluck

With actors continued bashing of President-elect Donald Trump ever since he defeated his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in November’s presidential election, actor and economist Ben Stein blasted most of Hollywood as being a “bunch of thuggish bullies” who try to silence those with opposing political views.

When reflecting on his past work in the entertainment industry, including Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Win Ben Stein’s Money, the conservative critic took on those who use acting as a stage to dictate public discussion on political matters.… Continue Reading

The Symbiotic Relationship Between Liberal Democrats and Hollywood

Written by Michael Bargo, Jr.

There is a mutually supportive relationship between Hollywood elites and the Democrat Party of the U.S. It is interesting to explore this relationship, how it benefits both, and why it continues. Every election cycle, candidates for the Democrat Party go to dinner parties in Hollywood and raise money from all movie industry attendants. These Hollywood dinner fundraisers are the most successful single day events in political campaigns. This year, for example, Hillary Clinton raised $8 million in one evening.
