Thanksgiving Transcends Our Political Mayhem

Written by Cameron Dominy

“Behold, now, the providence of God”
~William Bradford, Of Plymouth Plantation (1630-51)

This Thursday, millions of Americans will come together for a strange little holiday we call Thanksgiving. Regretfully, the current climate of American politics means too many celebrations across the country will end in bitter resentment between family members, and a deepened divide in our public discourse. Our commemoration of the 1621 harvest feast between Native Americans and Protestant Separatists is often misconstrued, and seldom understood.… Continue Reading

Climate Hysteria is About to Meet its Match With Chris Wright

Written by Robert Knight

Somehow, I don’t think the phrase “make my day” says enough about President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees.

Now that former U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz, Florida Republican, has withdrawn from consideration for attorney general, the most outrageously volatile pick has to be Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for secretary of health and human services.

I’m not sure this will go over well with everyone, but anyone who gives Anthony “gain of function research” Fauci nightmares and has the pharmaceutical giants nervously watching their share prices fall is probably in the right place.… Continue Reading

Biden-Harris’ Latest Attack on Religious Liberty

Written by David E. Smith

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has proposed a new rule regulating the distribution of grants. HHS has historically held that any program or organization receiving a grant may not discriminate based on religion, race, ethnicity or sex. The proposed rule would redefine “sex” to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

There are no religious liberty exemptions included in this new proposal. As such, this rule could harm religious organizations that hold sincere convictions that human beings are created in the image and likeness of Almighty God as male and female.… Continue Reading

The Left Can’t Handle Hegseth’s Combat Stance

Written by Daniel Horowitz

Motherhood is the foundation of all civilization. A movement determined to dismantle society would inevitably target women’s femininity to disrupt the natural male-female dynamic, leaving behind an androgynous, gender-blurring culture that struggles to reproduce itself. In other words, the culture we largely see today. This explains why the far left is so fixated on advancing the “women in combat” agenda and why Trump’s nomination of Pete Hegseth as secretary of defense has left leftists furious and discombobulated.… Continue Reading

2nd Trump Administration Will Set Things Right

Written by Robert Knight

Want to hear something that may be music to your ears, especially if you were delighted by the results of the Nov. 5 election?

“Anxious gloom grips much of the District.”

That was the take of Washington Post staff writer Kyle Swenson in a feature article last Wednesday about a place called Kraken. It’s a “rage room,” a business where customers pay $29.99 to smash things with crowbars, wrenches and baseball bats for 15 minutes of “stress relief.”… Continue Reading

Media Know They Must Change. They Won’t…

Written by Peter Heck

The numbers speak for themselves. MSNBC is suffering through a ratings catastrophe as the disillusioned loyalists, who kept believing the network’s stable of left-wing hosts who continued to promise that Trump was an unelectable Hitler, have walked away.

Trump Should Keep His Promise to Scrap Department of Education

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

One of the first things President-elect Donald Trump says he will do when he returns to the Oval Office is close and disband the Department of Education. He said:

“We are going to send all education, [along with its corresponding] work and needs, back to the states. We want them [i.e., the states] to run the education of our children because they’ll do a much better job of it. … We spend more money per pupil, by three times, than any other nation, and yet we are [approaching] the bottom; we’re one of the worst.

Trump Must Take Action Against ‘Untouchable’ Bureaucrats

Written by Daniel Horowitz

An estimated 2.2 million civilian federal workers serve at the pleasure of the president, despite only 4,000 being designated as political appointees. Donald Trump’s first priority as he prepares to retake office must be to establish that he can fire any of them. Whether they hold political appointments, U.S. Senate-confirmed positions, or civil service roles, all federal employees are subject to the president’s authority to terminate their employment. This includes workers in any department or so-called “independent” agency.… Continue Reading

Harris Victory Would Have Spawned a One-Party Central Government

Written by Robert Knight

Last Tuesday felt a lot like 2020, when counting stopped in the wee hours and Democratic nominee Joe Biden pulled miraculously ahead.

By midnight this time, only North Carolina had been called for Republican Donald Trump, and the other six battleground states were too early to call. What? The rest of the country’s vote had pretty much been counted.

Despite the dread, there was a palpable feeling that things would be different, that this election would be, as Mr. … Continue Reading

Trump Will Be Our 47th President

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

On Tuesday, we did it. We elected Donald Trump.

A friend sent me a note on social media this past Wednesday morning: “Well, he did it!”

That was all it said: He did it.

Indeed, he did.

On Tuesday night, after months of shaking his fist in the face of big government, Big Pharma and the Beltway oligarchs who were  threatening his life, liberty and property, Donald Trump became the president-elect.… Continue Reading
