During his interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker was confronted with the reality of the state’s wildly gerrymandered Congressional Districts.

JB Pritzker Gets Grilled Over Foolish Sanctuary Policies

On Thursday, June 12th, during a U.S. House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing titled “A Hearing with Sanctuary State Governors,” Governor JB Pritzker was confronted about Illinois’ sanctuary policies and their perceived impact on public safety and state resources.

U.S. Representatives Mary Miller (R-Quincy) and Darin LaHood (R-Peoria) grilled Illinois Governor JB Pritzker on the devastating consequences of his sanctuary policies and his failure to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. 

Miller highlighted the tragic murders committed by illegal aliens in Illinois who should never have been allowed into America, emphasizing that these policies are putting American lives at risk:

Illegal aliens in our state have overwhelmed local communities, causing untold pain and suffering, while costing Illinois taxpayers billions.

Illinois lawmakers are actively shaping the state’s Fiscal Year 2026 budget as the May 31st legislative deadline approaches. Governor JB Pritzker has proposed a budget of $55.45 billion – an increase of $2.35 billion over last year, but final numbers are still under negotiation.

The New York Times recently published a revealing article, titled “Botched Care and Tired Staff: Planned Parenthood in Crisis.” In her article, author Katie Benner details a litany of alarming problems at Planned Parenthood clinics across the U.S. The report asserts that many clinics face a high level of staff turnover that is fueled by substandard pay and poor working conditions.

Big Government in Illinois Is Growing

The corporate media will not tell you this, but as a resident of Illinois, you need to know that during the 103rd General Assembly (2023-2024), more than 9,800 bills were filed during this legislative session. Thus far, Governor JB Pritzker has signed 1,057 of these bills into law. And since the session isn’t officially through until January 8, 2025, that number may yet grow.
