Illinois has been known as a “sanctuary state” since August of 2017 when Governor Pritzker signed the TRUST Act (SB 31) into law.
This legislation restricts both local and state law enforcement from cooperating in any way with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
As we have seen in recent months, the reality of Illinois being a “sanctuary state” for illegal immigrants has continued to build to a boiling point.
If you thought the TRUST Act was radical legislation, this past week revealed the dangerous reality for citizens living in a “sanctuary state” with a governor who has little concern for his constituents – those he is obligated to protect.… Continue Reading

You just knew when anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement protester Renee Good tragically died in Minneapolis on Jan. 7 that the media would turn her into the next George Floyd.
Floyd, whose asphyxiation death under the knee of a police officer triggered the 2020 anti-police riots that took at least 25 lives and caused $2 billion in damage, has since been virtually deified. Minneapolis has named a square after him and erected a “living memorial” featuring art installations, including a raised-fist sculpture, in his honor.… Continue Reading

Since the 1990s, federal agencies and the media have fed Americans a steady diet of panic about shadowy “right-wing militias” — usually ex-military guys obsessed with guns and ready to wage war against the government at a moment’s notice.
The panic went into overdrive after January 6, 2021. But now, in a staggering act of projection, the threat they’ve spent decades warning about has arrived — only it’s coming from the radical left.… Continue Reading

The central lesson of 9/11 is that we had too many dangerous people who should never have been in the country who were able to operate and plot evil acts undetected. We needed to focus on our own border and immigration system rather than saving the world. Yet we did the exact opposite. We squandered two decades refereeing Sunni-Shia civil wars and then bringing in dangerous people from both sides of them.… Continue Reading

According to the far left-leaning news source, NBC News, illegal border crossings exceeded 2.7 million during the 2022 fiscal year. In their report, they claim these waves of immigrants “were driven in part by increases in the number of Venezuelans, Cubans and Nicaraguans making the trek north.” Of course that trend continues today and many conservatives believe those numbers are, in reality, much, much higher.
U.S. Representative Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) sent a video report to Fox News showing “how migrants are moving to the U.S.-Mexico… Continue Reading

In one respect, when DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told U.S. Rep. Chip Roy at a recent U.S. House Judiciary Committee hearing that the DHS has operational control over the border, he wasn’t lying. His department is now releasing close to 100,000 illegal aliens per month into the interior of the country. Thus, this is actually a controlled and purposeful mass migration, although there are many more gotaways that funnel through our border during the chaos.… Continue Reading

In 2006, a super-majority of Congress passed the Secure Fence Act. It required that no less than 850 miles of double-layer fencing be constructed on our border. But it also codified a sense of purpose and a clearly defined mission for Border Patrol, to which everyone at the time agreed. It required the secretary of homeland security to “take all actions” necessary within 18 months of passage to “achieve and maintain operational control over the entire international land and maritime borders of the United States” (emphasis added).… Continue Reading

So, here’s the Democrats’ plan: Flood America’s southern border with millions of illegal aliens, hook them on government aid and eventually turn them into voters. It can’t be more obvious anymore.
Use the courts to strike down any attempts to secure the border. Have judges rule against election integrity laws like voter ID or even the commonsense question about citizenship in the 2020 national census. Once the census count is in, grant more congressional districts and federal funds to jurisdictions swelled with illegals.… Continue Reading

Another murder by an illegal alien fails to rouse the nation
What is it going to take for Americans to overthrow the inertia of their political masters in Washington with regard to keeping illegal aliens out of the country? Apparently, more than the cold-blooded murder of its citizens by foreign trespassers.
In July, Mollie Tibbetts’ mutilated body was found after a month-long search, dumped in a cornfield in Brooklyn, Iowa.… Continue Reading
