Now that the U.S. Supreme Court will likely “give permission” for the president to obey immigration law and not Obama’s illegal amnesty, both parties will now clamor to enact the amnesty in a lawful manner. But there is no sense of urgency in Congress to enact immigration legislation to reinforce current laws and protect Americans from the ill effects of illegal immigration.
From reading the current media narratives, one would come away with the impression that nobody exists other than illegal alien “dreamers,” most of whom are valedictorians and the highest order of creation.… Continue Reading

It is imperative to know the truth in order to refute lies. Illinois Family Institute’s cultural affairs writer, Laurie Higgins, is well-acquainted with the truth regarding the lies of “trans” ideology. At a recent forum hosted by Concerned Citizens for American in Rockford, Laurie states that biological sex and scientific facts matter, despite what the proponents of this false, destructive ideology would have us believe.
In her presentation, Laurie clearly defines the terms biological sex, gender, and gender identity.… Continue Reading

In November 2010, Republicans gave Democrats a “shellacking,” regaining control of the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2014, they held the U.S. House and captured the U.S. Senate, swept a majority of governorships. Overall, the GOP gained more state legislative offices that they had held since the 1920s.
In the face of this, President Barack Obama made it clear that he was not about to move to the right in any fashion.… Continue Reading

It’s the sort of gun violence that happens every day, but is conveniently ignored by those who hate guns, except in the hands of repeat violent offenders. A seven-year-old girl was out trick-or-treating with her father in Chicago dressed up as a bumblebee. Suddenly, they were caught in the crossfire of a Latin Kings gang war, and the child was shot in the neck and chest.
While the identity of the suspected gunman has not yet been revealed, the Chicago Tribune is reporting that the target of the gunfire was a 32-year-old Latin King man “with a record of drug and assault arrests.”… Continue Reading

When Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard publicly announced her compromising stance on abortion-on-demand, specifically saying that she favored an approach that kept abortion legal, but also worked to make it rare and “unnecessary,” she was pilloried amongst what has become mainstream liberalism.
Combine that reality with a spate of recent jaw-dropping events, and an extremely unnerving conclusion emerges: the driving ideology behind the Democratic Party in America has evolved from a tacit approval and defense of legalized child killing to a macabre celebration of the ritual.… Continue Reading

People seem shocked that recent polls show millennials are enamored of socialism — an economic system that reasonable and educated Americans have long known is disastrous. They shouldn’t be; this has been a long time coming.
The latest survey by Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation shows that 70 percent of millennials are likely to vote socialist. Adding insult to injury, only 57 percent believe the Declaration of Independence “better guarantees freedom and equality” over “The Communist Manifesto.”… Continue Reading

Pastor Cory Musgrave joined Monte Larrick on this edition of Illinois Family Spotlight to discuss his invocation on the Illinois House floor earlier this year.
State Rep. Darren Bailey invited Pastor Musgrave to open the Illinois House in prayer, and Pastor Musgrave took the opportunity to ask God to forgive us for the recent passage of a radical abortion expansion bill that will result in even more innocent bloodshed.
He also answers questions about why he is running for Illinois State Representative in the 109th district (current State Rep.… Continue Reading

This past week the Democrat media went ballistic over Republican congressmen and women “invading” the secret basement room where Adam B. Schiff is stirring his pot o’ impeachment soup.
Washington Post fake conservative Jennifer Rubin’s Oct. 23rd column was titled, “So much for ‘due process’: Republican mob crashes secure hearing room.”
Yes, they did, last Wednesday, showing that some of the Trump backbone has been transplanted.
Mr. Schiff, a California Democrat who chairs the U.S.… Continue Reading
