In one of the most unprecedented bombshells in political history, an apparent draft of Justice Sam Alito’s unreleased majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked to Politico Monday night. While this opinion will dredge up endless commentary stemming from legacy moral divisions on the issue, most of the political prognosticating will miss the mark. Moreover, as welcoming as this news is for any pro-life conservative, it does come with some potential pitfalls long-term unless we build on the momentum for other issues as well.… Continue Reading

Chicago’s Morning Answer with Dan Proft and Amy Jacobson did a great job exposing the blatant lies, chicanery, and fraud coming out of the Richard Irvin for Governor campaign. During their morning broadcast on Wednesday, April 20th, Dan exposes the following inconvenient facts:
Irvin has voted in 8 of the last 9 Democratic primaries.
Irvin, as mayor, imposed COVID-19 vaccine mandates on City of Aurora employees.
Irvin threatened businesses in the City of Aurora if they didn’t comply with the mask mandate.
I admit I know very little about former one-term congressman Joe Walsh of Illinois. Some quick online research reveals that he was a tea party activist elected in the anti-Obamacare Republican wave of 2010. During his short tenure in office, Walsh appears to have carved out a reputation as a staunch and sometimes harsh critic of former President Obama, and a reliable vote for conservative policy.
When he lost his re-election bid to Tammy Duckworth in 2012, Walsh went on to host a conservative talk radio show before announcing a presidential primary run against Donald Trump‘s re-election bid in the 2020 cycle.… Continue Reading
The Illinois State Board of Education has approved the proposed “Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Standards” amendment, and on February 16, JCAR (Illinois’ Joint Committee on Administrative Rules) will vote on its ratification. Dr. Eric Wallace joins Monte Larrick to explain why adopting these “standards” will shift the focus from teaching foundational academics and fostering critical thinking skills to promoting Critical Race Theory and “woke” perspectives that dismiss objective truth. Additionally, they discuss how Illinois parents and taxpayers can most effectively stand against the leftist agenda of student indoctrination.… Continue Reading
Two news stories broke this week about Washington D.C. RINOs, demonstrating again, why RINOs should not lead the GOP.
First up, there was the exposé of RINO co-founder of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, John Weaver, who joined forces with Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway to help Joe Biden and Kamala Harris get elected.
I am saddened by what occurred at the nation’s Capitol building on Wednesday. Such mob violence, especially against the nation’s institutions of government, must be firmly and unequivocally condemned.
For my entire lifetime, the Republican Party has been the party of law and order and has zealously honored the U.S. Constitution. We must and will continue to be.
Most conservatives are rightly condemning the violence, but it should be noted that this is not typical of people on the right.… Continue Reading
Since it appears that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will take office in less than three weeks, my deepest fears should only be intensifying. Right?
We needn’t carry on this disingenuous debate about whether Biden is a centrist, because his growing mental incapacity makes it a moot point.… Continue Reading
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump directly appealed to African American voters for their vote, asking them, “What do you have to lose?”
Trump should have received more credit for this, as Republicans have often been criticized for not wooing African Americans from Democrats, who crucially depend on their overwhelming support yet take their votes for granted.
Trump’s message was that blacks had entrusted their improvement exclusively to the Democratic Party, but it had failed to produce.… Continue Reading
Like never before, the American public faces a stark choice in the run-up to the 2020 elections that could not offer a more distinct antithesis in policy – one which would lead to two very different Americas. The first is based upon the historic Judeo-Christian values that have made our nation great; the second is a sharp repudiation of those values in favor of a secularistic society that is shockingly hostile to people of faith.… Continue Reading
