New Report: Republicans Can’t Win Without the Family

Written by Leo Thuman

Veritable droves of right-of-center commentators and would-be eminences are more than happy to sound off ad-nauseam about tax cuts and job creation. Those priorities are spoken about as if they are the only political issues that conservatives can win on. In 2018, before November’s midterm elections, a group of Republican insiders and strategists happily gloated that another round of tax cuts would leave Democrats completely stumped, flailing in confusion at their loss.… Continue Reading

Alex Newman’s Speaking Tour Comes to Chicago’s South Side

Written by David E. Smith

The recent headline of a Chicago Sun-Times article alarmingly reports that a Chicago Public School watchdog is fielding 3 complaints of sexual misconduct per school day. This comes on the heels of a Chicago Tribune report last summer that exposed that Chicago public schools had more than 520 sexual assault cases all across the city over the past decade.

According to the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), only 38 percent of Illinois public school students meet proficiency expectations in English Language Arts, only 32 percent of students meet proficiency expectations in math.… Continue Reading

Leftist Bullying Works

Written by David Limbaugh

Chick-fil-A’s disappointing decision to discontinue donations to “controversial” Christian charities is emblematic of the power of political correctness and the bullying left that drives it. If the previously stalwart Chick-fil-A folds, who is left standing to fight?

Tireless, intolerant LGBTQ activists bombarded the restaurant chain with protests and accusations about it being “anti-gay.” The gist of its sin is that it has donated millions of dollars to The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which have historically opposed same-sex marriage.… Continue Reading

When It Comes To China, We All Need Renewed Moral Clarity

Written by Julie Tisdale

The U.S Senate unanimously passed a bill this week to support pro-democracy efforts in Hong Kong, a move that prompted an angry response from Beijing. According to Reuters, the measure requires that the U.S. “certify at least once a year that Hong Kong retains enough autonomy to qualify for special U.S. trading consideration.” A separate bill, also passed unanimously, places a moratorium on selling crowd control “munitions” (such as tear gas, pepper spray, rubber bullets and stun guns) to Hong Kong police, who have been accused of brutality in dealing with protestors.… Continue Reading

The Moderate Democrat

Written by Micah Clark

You may have noticed that several news commentators attached the label “moderate” to former New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg last week when he filed papers to run for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

A news story appearing at Town Hall.com this week raises some questions about the notion that Bloomberg is a middle of the road Democrat.   It points to a lawsuit against the former mayor in which an employee told him that she was pregnant.  … Continue Reading

Operating Above the Law

Written by Robert Knight

“No one is above the law,” U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said when announcing the start of the impeachment process against President Donald J. Trump.

She should have tempered it with: “unless you’re a Democrat.”

For starters, literally hundreds of Democrat-controlled jurisdictions operate as “sanctuary cities,” flouting the law by refusing to cooperate with federal immigration officials.  Nothing ever happens to the Democrat politicians, just the crime victims at the hands of criminal aliens who are released instead of being turned over to immigration enforcement officers.… Continue Reading

According to Brigitte Gabriel, “Two percent of the passionate will always rule the ninety-eight percent indifferent.” As a conservative author, political commentator, and the founder of ACT for America, Ms. Gabriel is definitely passionate about educating and mobilizing Americans to take practical steps to preserve our national identity and protect our country from radical Islam.

Brigitte Gabriel joins Monte Larrick on this week’s Spotlight to discuss a variety of topics including legal immigration, sharia law in U.S.… Continue Reading

The Democrats’ Election Interference Projection

Written by David Limbaugh

You know what doesn’t pass the smell test in the Democrats’ sham impeachment crusade? Their main beef is that President Donald Trump abused his power to interfere with a presidential election (2020), yet that’s all they have been doing for the last three years.

Interference with a presidential election (2016) was also their allegation with the Russia-collusion hoax. Oh, my, how they revere the integrity of the election process.

Remember U.S. Rep.… Continue Reading
