Since November 2016, the media and the progressive Left have been pounding the same two claims.
The first is that Donald Trump was not really elected, since Hillary Clinton got more popular votes.
The second is that anyone who voted for Mr. Trump or supports him today is a white male supremacist bigot. And probably homophobic and xenophobic to boot. Regardless of actual race or sex.
Regarding the first claim, Hillary’s national margin of 2.8 million votes can be explained entirely by California, which has become a one-party, socialist state with enormous potential for voter fraud.… Continue Reading

Hillary Clinton recently praised an 11-year-old schoolgirl in Maryland who refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and “took a knee” like NFL players. “It takes courage to exercise your right to protest injustice, especially when you’re 11!… Continue Reading

Despite weeks of Obama administration stonewalling of refreshingly persistent media inquiries about its outrageous – and, I believe, illegal – transfer to Iran of $400 million in foreign currency in an unmarked cargo plane, the Wall Street Journal has confirmed that the payment was, in fact, a ransom payment for the release of American hostages.
The White House and State Department have insisted that there was absolutely, positively, cross-their-hearts no connection between (a) an agreed-upon prisoner swap in which American hostages held by Iran were released, and (b) the settlement of Iran’s claim regarding $400 million (plus interest) withheld by the United States in connection with a failed 1970s arms deal.

If you’re a close reader of the two Chicago metro dailies, you know both the Sun-Times and the Tribune are reluctant to talk much about Chicago’s dire financial situation. The one exception is when the union members in the press are trying to help the union candidate for mayor, Jesus “Chuy” Garcia. Then, they’re quick to point out that Rahm Emanual is a rich guy, who hangs out with other rich guys like Gov. Bruce Rauner.… Continue Reading
