We have been a fan of Liandro “Li” Arellano for some time now. We supported him 10 years ago in a razor-thin primary loss when he ran for state representative against the Republican establishment pick. We watched this small businessman bounce back in just a couple years as he ran for and became the Mayor of Dixon, Illinois. He has worked hard to try and turn around his home town which has been rocked by a scandal in which a City of Dixon Comptroller stole more than $50 million from the city to fuel her gambling addictions and lavish lifestyle.… Continue Reading

We are facing a crucial primary election on June 28–an election unlike any in recent memory. To help ensure our path leads to greater protection of our freedoms, heed the words of Bobby Piton, Illinois candidate for United States Senate:
“This the most important vote in Illinois in our lifetime. Vote David Shestokas for Illinois Attorney General.”
Why does Bobby Piton say this? Because it’s true. The importance of the office of attorney general (AG) is clear.… Continue Reading

Illinois Family Action has complied what information we could find on a few judges to help you carry out your duty as a citizen. The majority of these are running in Cook County. We are happy to provide the following 2022 Election Watch for Judicial candidates.… Continue Reading

We were very impressed with his presentation and the question and answer session with Woodford County Chief Deputy Sheriff Dennis Tipsword, Jr. Not only does he have 27 years of law enforcement background, with a specialty in drug interdiction, he owns three small businesses, including an ammunitions machine shop.
Dennis is passionate on the right to life, ethics in government, responsible spending, and preserving Second Amendment rights to protect our families. His experience as a police officer also informs his opposition to the expanded “comprehensive” sex education mandate which, in our opinion, is nothing more than grooming innocent and vulnerable children for early sexual activity.… Continue Reading

The IFA Board was impressed by Dr. Bill Hauter, who spoke with passion and conviction on issues ranging from life, to medical freedom, to school choice. He doesn’t shy away from making his faith in Jesus Christ known.
From his web site:
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

On Monday, May 23, after receiving a brief extension from the U.S. House clerk’s office, IL-11 congressional candidate
Mark Carroll (R-North Aurora), who’s
endorsed by Illinois Family Action, filed his Financial Disclosure report (FD) electronically with the U.S. House clerk. The report was visible to the public on Tuesday, May 24.

Upon reviewing Carroll’s report, a joint liability was found where Carroll and his wife had an approved IRS Install Plan for between $50K-$100K of unpaid business income taxes:

Given the significance of this kind of a debt to the Internal Revenue Service for a candidate pursuing a seat in the United States Congress for the 11th Congressional District, due diligence was applied by Illinois Family Action to ensure Republican primary voters receive the whole truth in the remaining 3 1/2 weeks of the primary campaign ending on June 28 in order to cast an informed vote.…

Since 1964 – 58 years ago – the Illinois Supreme Court has been controlled by justices put forth by the Democratic Party. Currently serving as a Circuit Court Trial Judge (16th circuit/Kane Co.), Judge John Noverini believes it’s well past time for that imbalance to change. We are pleased to welcome Judge Noverini, a candidate for Illinois Supreme Court Justice from the second judicial district, a district that was recently gerrymandered by the Democrat-majority legislature, to this edition of Spotlight.… Continue Reading

We were very impressed with the energy, conservative values, and the leadership Travis Weaver, running for Illinois State Representative in District 93, showed at our interview session. His record of accomplishment and community involvement, at just 29 years old, gives us great encouragement for the future.
As the state’s only full time Christian pro-life/pro-family organization, Illinois Family Action is proud to endorse the following candidates running for office:

Travis Weaver makes his positions very clear, both spoken, and in writing to his potential constituents.… Continue Reading
