The Media’s Double Standard on Political Violence

Written by Tim Graham

Once the shock of Charlie Kirk‘s murder began to wear off, it became easier to notice how today’s “news” media routinely fail to live up to their own pompous prattle about their work. They don’t “hold people accountable,” they don’t “uphold democracy,” and they aren’t “independent” or “objective.” They don’t produce “news” as much as narrative.

You can see this in their energetic declarations that you couldn’t possibly ascribe a leftist motive to Kirk’s shooter … and even claimed you shouldn’t try.… Continue Reading

U.S. Senator Paul Challenges Vaccine Recommendations for Infants

Written by David E. Smith

Dr. Susan Monarez, PhD—a microbiologist, public health official, and former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)—testified yesterday before the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. She alleged that she was fired for refusing to comply with directives from Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which she said would have compromised scientific integrity.

According to Monarez, she was pressured to approve changes to the childhood vaccination schedule, including the possible removal of the hepatitis B vaccine for newborns.… Continue Reading

JB Pritzker’s Denial vs. His Own Words

Written by David E. Smith

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker is facing criticism after denying that he has ever called Republicans “Nazis.” Pressed by a reporter on Monday, Pritzker insisted,

“That is completely false. I have never called Republicans Nazis. That’s what they’d like to say. They’re lying. They’re lying.”

Republican gubernatorial candidate Ted Dabrowski quickly pushed back:

“Gov. Pritzker is not telling the truth. He is denying his own words, words that Illinoisans heard for themselves.”

Liberty or Tyranny? The Left’s Mask Has Slipped

Written by Robert Knight

The Democratic Party is having an identity crisis. To win elections, it must pose as moderately liberal. It is anything but.

The rise of Muslim/socialist Zohran Mamdani as the Democratic nominee for mayor of America’s largest city shows how far left the party has plunged.

New York City voters may yet reject Mr. Mamdani, but he is favored right now to win in November. That would saddle the Big Apple with a functionally Islamic/communist regime.… Continue Reading

The Left’s Evil Response to Charlie Kirk’s Murder

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

Have you ever questioned the Judeo-Christian teaching that mankind is evil? Have you ever recoiled at the Old Testament’s claim that “the heart is deceitful above all things” or felt uncomfortable with St. Paul’s accusation that, apart from Christ, all of us suffer the curse of a “reprobate mind”? Well, if you have, then the response to Charlie Kirk’s assassination last week should remove all doubt. We are indeed a wicked and broken race.… Continue Reading

Will Pritzker Own Up to His Irresponsible Rhetoric?

Written by David E. Smith

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s horrific public execution, Governor JB Pritzker issued condolences to the Kirk family. He then pivoted to the broader issue of political violence, warning that it is “ratcheting up in this country.” Pointing to recent political killings in Minnesota, he insisted, “It’s got to stop, and I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country.” Of course, Pritzker ultimately laid the blame at the feet of President Donald Trump, saying:

I think the president’s rhetoric often foments it.

How Gay ‘Marriage’ Made Today’s Gender Madness Possible

Written by Daniel Horowitz

Gay marriage was not just a step down the slippery slope toward today’s transgender dystopia. It was the first manifestation of it. Now that a broad reawakening has exposed the harms of gender ideology and the denial of natural law, Republicans must press beyond protecting women’s sports and opposing child castration. They must return to the root of the problem: the redefinition of marriage itself.

Marriage is the foundation of human civilization, not a mere “social construct.”… Continue Reading

Why Parents Are Abandoning Public Schools — By The Millions

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

If you’ve ever wondered why America’s public schools receive so much criticism today and why so many hardworking families are making considerable financial sacrifices to enroll their children in private education instead, consider three recent headline stories.

First is the case in Michigan, where a public school teacher with 31 years of seniority decided to quit her job rather than succumb to a test that required her to “rate her level of Whiteness” as a means of improving her teaching skills.… Continue Reading

Trump, Miller Blast Pritzker as Chicago Violence Spirals

Written by David E. Smith

Chicago endured another bloody Labor Day weekend: eight people killed and 58 shot, including two teenagers. President Donald J. Trump responded by declaring, “Enough is enough… we’re going in,” signaling his willingness to send federal help to restore order in the city.

Trump contrasted Chicago’s spiraling violence with Washington, D.C., which he claimed is now a “safe zone” after federal intervention. “You can walk right down the middle of the street… you’re safe,” he told reporters.… Continue Reading

Confronting the Lie that Pro-Lifers Don’t Care Once a Child Is Born

Written by Robert Knight

One of the most dishonest attacks on the pro-life movement is the charge that pro-life people care only about the baby in utero – not about the mothers or their delivered babies.

A new report, “Pregnancy Centers Stand the Test of Time,” by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the research arm of the Susan B. Anthony List, puts the lie to that assertion.

In 2019, the latest year tabulated, about 2,700 pro-life pregnancy centers nationally served nearly two million people.… Continue Reading
