The Suicidal Equality Act of 2019

Written by Star Parker

The U.S. House Judiciary Committee has voted out the Equality Act of 2019 (H.R.5). It now heads for a vote on the U.S. House floor with 240 co-sponsors, which means its passage is virtually certain.

The legislation amends all major civil rights law, including the 1964 Civil Rights Act, to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” along with race, sex and religion as classes that are protected from discrimination.

There is so much wrong here it is hard to know where to start.… Continue Reading

Mayor Pete, Fake Christian, and The Re-definition of Christianity

Written by Pastor Stephen Broden

Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D-South Bend) is publicly challenging the definition of what a Christian is in the public square.

The culmination of the culture wars has now turned to redefining Christianity. The LGBTQ community has used media, entertainment, and the law to codify their view of sexuality. They have convinced Americans that the homosexual lifestyle is normal and an acceptable practice in the public square. They have, in effect, successfully introduced a neo-morality into the culture.… Continue Reading

Democrats Lurch Ever Leftward

Written by Robert Knight

Adults in the Democratic Party, who seem like flustered parents at an out-of-control toddler birthday bash, have been warning about the public’s perception of them.

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has reason to worry. The 22 declared candidates for the presidential nomination lean far to the Left.  Which means they represent the center of their now-far-Left party.

The mini-wave for “moderate” Joe Biden reflects a desperate pullback from the zany public image fostered by wild-haired Vermont socialist U.S.… Continue Reading

SPOTLIGHT: Jeanne Ives Addresses Marijuana and Illinois’ Economic Crisis

Written by Benjamin Smith

This week’s Spotlight features Jeanne Ives as she presents facts and figures that underscore the stark reality Democrats in the Land of Lincoln are unwilling to face. As a former Illinois state representative and recent gubernatorial candidate, Ms. Ives is supremely qualified to speak to the myriad of problems that plague our state.

Rather than relying on anticipated (i.e., overly optimistic and ultimately insufficient) tax revenue from legal recreational marijuana to solve Illinois’ economic crisis, pension mismanagement, and outmigration woes, Ms.… Continue Reading

Facebook & Twitter: Biased Against the Right?

Written by David Grogan

Recently, representatives from Facebook and Twitter appeared before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee to respond to claims that their companies are engaging in the censorship of conservative news and voices. For years, conservatives have lamented the power of Big Tech over political discourse and their bias against the Right.

U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) made sure to point out that, in her view, the evidence conservatives have for social media bias is purely anecdotal.… Continue Reading

The Worm Has Turned on the Democrats

Written by David Limbaugh

The Democrats and their media colluders are belching last gasps of impotent protest as their dreams of interfering with the 2016 presidential election come to a screeching halt.

Through forlorn partisan lenses, they have watched the Mueller report, their joyride vehicle on the glorious highway to impeachment, spring four flat tires, all because of nails they placed on the road themselves.

As we watch the mainstream media grow hysterically strident, and the insolent U.S.… Continue Reading

Civilized Man Will Soon Revile Abortion as it Does Slavery

Written by Peter Heck

One of the most remarkable stories you’ll read is that of John Newton, author of the globally famous song Amazing Grace.  Newton was a slave ship captain who repented of his sins, became a minister, and whose personal testimonies of the horrors of the slave trade were used effectively by the great William Wilberforce to prosecute the practice before Parliament.

But here’s what few people realize about Newton’s life: his conversion to Christ did not lead to his immediate deliverance from the life of a slave trader. … Continue Reading

The Attacks on Christians and America’s First Freedom

Written by David Horowitz

The Islamic State (ISIS) has now taken credit for the Muslim massacre of Christians in Sri Lana. On average over 300 Christians a month are killed for their faith globally. This is the end result of a campaign of disrespect and hate towards Christians that have become a significant theme of American politics as well.

Is it merely coincidental that the most rapidly rising candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, Pete Buttigieg launched his campaign with an unfounded and unprovoked attack on America’s vice president because he is a Christian?… Continue Reading
