Could Bernie Sanders show Elizabeth Warren
how to beat Hillary Clinton?
Vermont U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, an avowed independent Socialist, has decided to run for the Democratic presidential nomination, and if nothing else his presence will be entertaining. He has no chance of winning, but he could prove instructive for voters as a demonstration of where the American political left wants to go.
The 73-year-old second-term U.S. Senator from the country’s most liberal state, and former mayor of Burlington, is sincere about his progressive politics.… Continue Reading

In the rocky roll-out of her campaign, Hillary Clinton has listed four goals for her presidency: expanding opportunity for the middle class, strengthening families and communities, confronting foreign threats, and somehow breaking the connection between money and politics. “We can fix our dysfunctional political system and get unaccountable money out of it once and for all,” she promises, “even if that takes a constitutional amendment.” This last announced goal represents a cynical bid to deflect attention from the big money that Hillary herself has pocketed by exploiting her power and prominence; the Clintons have accumulated at least $140 million since leaving the White House.… Continue Reading

It happened again last week, a painful reminder that the GOP leadership in Congress is pathetic. The President’s radical nominee for Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, was confirmed with ten Republican votes. Without Republican votes, Lynch could not have become U.S. Attorney General. Lynch will now replace Eric Holder, the most controversial and racially divisive Attorney General in American history.
In her testimony to Congress, Lynch made it clear that she would continue the policies of her liberal predecessor, support the Obama agenda, and had no problem with the President’s highly questionable use of executive power to grant amnesty to five million illegal immigrants.… Continue Reading

Hillary Clinton believes that “religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” in order to expand access to abortion.
Clinton said yesterday that it’s not enough to legalize the procedure. “Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced,” she said Thursday, per the Daily Caller. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”… Continue Reading

I believe Hillary Clinton is now telling the truth regarding her views on same-sex “marriage.” I just don’t believe she was telling the truth in the past, especially when she expressed her opposition to it. Can anyone say “Shades of Barack Obama,” whose views on the subject also “evolved”?
When it comes to President Obama, David Axelrod has now confirmed what seemed obvious for years, namely, that he lied about his views on redefining marriage so as not to drive away black (and other morally conservative) voters.… Continue Reading

Hillary Clinton has been involved in scandals before. Here are some notable ones you may have forgotten.
Chinagate – The Clinton-Gore campaign in 1996 allegedly took bribes from Chinese banks and their government to help their dwindling poll numbers. The Chinese embassy in D.C. helped siphon funds into the DNC. Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown (who was killed in a plane crash), at Hillary’s instruction reportedly sold seats on department trade missions to China.… Continue Reading

She’s as charming as a bulldozer at full throttle. It’s hard to explain why she’s not the second coming of Richard Nixon or a female version of Vito Corleone. But here she is, again, running for the presidency, again.
We’re told her nomination is inevitable. But as former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley said, a candidate is inevitable until she’s not. She’s one of the most qualified people ever to run for president so she doesn’t need to be vetted, her pals in the media tell us.… Continue Reading

It is amazing how a simple question can cause a complex lie to collapse like a house of cards. The simple question was asked by Bill O’Reilly of the Fox News Channel, and it was addressed to two Democrats. He asked what has Hillary Clinton ever accomplished.
The two Democrats immediately sidestepped the question and started reciting their talking points in favor of Hillary. But O’Reilly kept coming back to the fact that nothing they were talking about was an accomplishment.… Continue Reading

The radical left is never satisfied with its power. It always wants more. Two terms as president won’t satisfy Obama’s power-lust.
On December 12, 2014, CNN reported that “300 ex-Obama staffers” had written a public letter urging first-term senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) to run for president.
Obama could have stopped that move from his homeys. He chose not to, and probably encouraged it behind the scenes.
A few days ago, Robert Reich was quoted by our trustworthy media to the effect that “Elizabeth Warren would be a strong primary challenger to Hillary Clinton.” … Continue Reading
