In April 2021, a group of U.S. House Democrats, led by U.S. Senator Ed Markey, introduced a bill to expand the U.S. Supreme Court from 9 justices to 13. This is a blatant attempt to ensure Democrats keep control of the third branch of government. This fight continues in the lead up to the 2022 Midterm election. One could speculate that they are trying to hijack the Court because a majority of Americans don’t agree with their radical policies.
