USA-ELECTION

Written by Robert Knight

Regardless of the Trump-Clinton matchup, it’s instructive to contrast the Republican and Democratic Party platforms.  While nearly identical in length, they reveal utterly opposite worldviews.

The 54-page GOP platform calls for greater personal responsibility; de-centralizing power; a Balanced Budget Amendment; reducing the size and scope of government;  parental rights; gun ownership and religious liberty; tax incentives for economic growth; reducing taxes across the board; a crackdown on the Internal Revenue Service; overturning the Supreme Court’s rulings on Obamacare, abortion and same-sex “marriage”; rejecting any treaties not vetted by the Senate; rescinding President Obama’s executive orders granting amnesty to illegal immigrants; withholding federal funds from “sanctuary cities”; building a wall on our southern border; rebuilding American military strength, and exerting international leadership against ISIS and other threats.… Continue Reading

election2016-1

The November election is likely to be an intense, brutal fight to the finish, with the Republican candidate Donald Trump needing all of the friends and supporters he can muster. As was evident by his recent statements at the historical “Conversation” event in New York City, where he spoke about religious liberty and related matters to more than 1,000 evangelical leaders, he is counting on widespread support from conservative Christians and their churches in his battle for the presidency.… Continue Reading

Many Christians today, such as Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, are actually “functional atheists” because they won’t stand up for their biblical values in the public square, the sibling real estate team “The Benham Brothers” said this past weekend.

In an email interview that was published by the Conservative Review, Christian twin businessmen and authors Jason and David Benham discussed their second book Living Among Lions: How to Thrive Like Daniel in Today’s Babylon and their thoughts on Hillary Clinton‘s running mate, a Catholic who personally opposes abortion but will not stand in the way of a “woman’s right to choose.”

U.S.-soldiers

History tends to repeat itself – good or bad. In 2012, President Obama needed a good campaign narrative to get re-elected. Obama ignored the intelligent reports, missed half of his intelligent meetings because the campaign narrative was to minimize the threat of ISIS even after all of the horrors of the Benghazi attack on 9/11. Obama needed his campaign narrative to stay on topic – Osama bin Laden is defeated and never mind the Benghazi attack.… Continue Reading

Hillary shouting

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton refused to sign a pledge Monday that would protect children from exploitation by the porn industry.

“In past Administrations, the Internet obscenity laws have not been aggressively or adequately enforced. The invasion of graphic online worldwide is ‘the largest unregulated social experiment in human history,’” the signed pledge reads.

Unlike Clinton, Republican nominee Donald Trump signed the pledge, promising that, if elected president, he will  “uphold the rule of law by aggressively enforce existing federal laws to prevent the sexual exploitation of children online, including the federal obscenity laws, child pornography laws, sexual predation laws and the sex trafficking laws.”… Continue Reading

Many Americans feel desperately dissatisfied with their choices in this presidential campaign, but they may take some comfort in the thought that serious health issues could yet sideline one, or both, of the major party contenders.

Neither Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump has released comprehensive medical records to address serious concerns about the physical condition of these two aging Boomers. If the 70-year-old Trump wins in November, he’ll become the oldest individual ever to assume the nation’s highest office.… Continue Reading

The billionaire, who had dialed back his giving, has committed more than $25 million to supporting Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates and causes.

George Soros is back.

The billionaire investor, who scaled back his political giving after a then-unprecedented $27 million spending spree to try to defeat George Bush in 2004, has quietly reemerged as a leading funder of Democratic politics — and as a leading bogeyman of conservatives.

Soros has donated or committed more than $25 million to boost Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates and causes, according to Federal Election Commission records and interviews with his associates and Democratic fundraising operatives.… Continue Reading

Cecile Richards

Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards denounced Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s comment calling pregnancy an “inconvenience.”

In a speech delivered at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Richards spoke about the issues she had with Trump’s stated views on women and abortion.

“Donald Trump has pledged to appoint justices who will overturn Roe v. Wade and undo decades of progress. His policies aren’t just frightening — they’re rooted in a disturbing worldview,” said Richards.

Hillary Clinton may have won the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, but Bernie Sanders has still left an outsize mark on its future.

Back in July, Sanders won a string of concessions on the Democratic Party platform, pulling the party to the left on the minimum wage, environmental regulation, marijuana legalization, and the war on drugs.

“I think if you read the platform right now, you will understand that the political revolution is alive and kicking,” Sanders’s policy director, Warren Gunnels, told NBC News at the time, adding that campaign got “at least 80 percent” of what it wanted.… Continue Reading

Tim-Kaine-Planned-Parenthood

Written by Jim Finnegan

No surprise when the left leaning media try’s to sell Irish “catholic” Tim Kaine as a devout Catholic. You gotta be kidding me!  An oxymoron calling one who supports the evil of abortion “Pro Life.”

U.S. Senator Kaine with plenty of chutzpah, joins with the media by calling himself Pro-Life while supporting abortion on demand. You do not get a 100 percent approval rating from Planned Parenthood while being Pro-Life.

Kaine falls back on the tired old canard “I am not in favor of abortion, but would never tell another what to do.… Continue Reading

It is not surprising that those seeking to advance the LGBT agenda would work through left-leaning organizations, but one billionaire who has his eye on millennials has begun partnering with Hobby Lobby and its Museum of the Bible.

Paul Singer has been targeting Republican candidates, lawmakers, and the Republican Party platform. Now, he is reaching out to Christian students on college campuses.

Singer has an elaborate funding and organizational scheme that appears to support Christians and gain their goodwill while at the same time working against them to advance his same-sex marriage and LGBT agenda.… Continue Reading
