In south Cook County and into the southern suburbs, we have Frederick Walls from Crete who is running for state representative in the 34th District. This seat is currently held by incumbent State Representative Nicholas Smith, another left-wing Democrat from Chicago.

Walls is a Christian husband and devoted father of four children. He is a graduate of The Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters’ Apprentices and Training Program (CRCC), and has been a carpenter for 13 years.

The first week of October was not a very good one for IL-11 Republican nominee Catalina Lauf of Woodstock.  After being elevated by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) to full Young Guns status at the end of September, Lauf entered October with a fundraiser planned in Las Vegas and hosted by Congressman Burgess Owens (R, UT) through his Dream Big PAC.

While Lauf was doing local events before departing for Las Vegas by week’s end, Monday afternoon, Lauf came under fire by local and state media over the tweet response to a tweet and news story by Andrew Kaczynski, CNN reporter concerning a report in Minnesota litter boxes were used in schools for kids who self-identified as animals was a hoax.

We get many calls during an election cycle for information on judges. In the past, we were able to offer very little other than ratings given by the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago (LAGBAC). This year, we are pleased to report we have more information than in any previous year.

At the September 29 Amendment 1 virtual editorial endorsement interview hosted by the Daily Herald, two panelists from Shaw Media including Scott Holland participated. 

Greg Hart is a Republican member of the DuPage County Board who hopes to become the next board chair. In a slick and startling campaign video (see below), Hart obscenely used his visibly pregnant wife to make the case for his election as a pro-choice GOP candidate. You read that right. Greg Hart wants residents of DuPage County—the second largest county in Illinois—to know that he fully supports the legal right of his wife to have had the “choice” to kill their living “son” (Hart’s term).

Below is a sample of what someone in Illinois’ 15th State Senate district recently distributed in her neighborhood – a custom-made half-sheet flier specific to her area. She said that many of the people she spoke with had previously voted for the Democrats IFA highlighted in the flier. She said they were SHOCKED to find out that the state lawmakers they previously supported voted AGAINST common-sense values. So shocked that they declared they would now vote against their incumbent state representative and state senator!
