Wait, Wait… David Axelrod is Complaining About The “Nature of our Times”?!

Written by Peter Heck

There were more than a few storylines to track after one of the most intransigent liberals in the history of the U.S. Supreme Court, Stephen Breyer, announced he would be stepping down at the end of this term.

First, the timing of the announcement seemed suspect. Justices have historically waited much later in the term to declare such an intent (Kennedy, Souter, O’Connor). That early timing led to widespread speculation that Breyer likely gave the White House the courtesy of a wary heads-up to avoid them being taken off guard and allow them to give a full and proper vetting of potential replacements.… Continue Reading

COVID-19 Science or Blind Compliance

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

[On] Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), conducted a hearing on the issue of COVID-19 interventions. More specifically, the senator invited testimony regarding our military’s new practice of requiring mRNA injections of all our nation’s soldiers. Mr. Johnson’s goal was quite simple and straightforward. He wanted to learn what the available data shows concerning this new drug’s efficacy and potential side effects.

Why is this important?

Well, it is pretty simple.… Continue Reading

SPOTLIGHT: Fetal Rights and the End of Roe

Written by David E. Smith

Could the Fourteenth Amendment, specifically the Equal Protection Clause, be the means by which Roe v. Wade is overturned? Dr. Steve Jacobs, program director of Illinois Right to Life, joins IFI’s Monte Larrick and Jenna Smith to explain why he is confident the U. S. Supreme Court will overturn this landmark decision. Beginning with the question of what “pro-life” really means, Dr. Jacobs discusses his reservations about basing law on states’ rights and shares why he feels the issue of equality ought to be the essence of the pro-life movement.… Continue Reading

Proof Fair and Honest Elections are Vital

Written by IFA Staff Report

While we are working to get the best conservative candidates across Illinois on the ballot for election or re-election in 2022, there is a reality we must deal with: doing all we can to ensure our elections are conducted fairly and accurately.

In 2020 we saw many examples of voting irregularities, even outright voter fraud, in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. In Illinois we have seen serious election integrity issues in DuPage, Kane, and Peoria counties, and of course there are historic problems in Chicago and Cook County.… Continue Reading

The COVID Debacle Should End All Calls For Government-Run Healthcare

Written by Peter Heck

Liberal commentator Bari Weiss made headlines last weekend by prosecuting the actions of U.S. public health entities and government for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, suggesting that future generations will consider them to have committed a “moral crime.”

Her words may have inflamed the Fauci-fanatics in American society, but coming on the heels of the CDC’s stunning admission that natural immunity was six times more effective during the Delta variant wave – despite the fact that public health officials shamed those who were suggesting as much at the time – there are more citizens than ever who are now choosing COVID realism over alarmism.… Continue Reading

How Big Tech Crushes Hope For Change

Written by Robert Knight

While Big Tech’s Washington lobbyists fend off anti-trusters, Silicon Valley has not missed a beat in its “woke” censorship of views they don’t like.

COVID-19. Climate change. Vote fraud. Former President Donald Trump. Human sexuality. Whatever.

Toe their leftist line or get muzzled.

Last week, Google-owned YouTube blocked all videos on the Reintegrative Therapy Association channel after a left-wing group in Alabama complained loudly about them and Forbes carried an article parroting the group’s report.… Continue Reading

I’m a Privileged American … Please Put Race Aside

Written by Dr. Gary L. Welton

I do not feel like a privileged person today when I watch Olympic competitions. These young white, black, and Asian athletes from around the world have been given incredible opportunities to train and specialize in their events. When I should have started such training as a child, I did not even know there was such a thing. When we had a functional television in our home, which was rare, we had atrocious reception.… Continue Reading

Biden Administration to Compile a List of Religious Vaccine Objectors

Written by Jorge Gomez

The Biden administration appears to be testing the idea of putting together a list of Americans who have religious objections to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Recently, the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia announced a new records system that will store the names and “personal religious information” of all employees who make “religious accommodation requests for religious exception from the federally mandated vaccination requirement.”

But this is only one agency implementing this type of tracking system.… Continue Reading
