Conservatives have canceled their own culture. Glenn Beck was a recent example, blasting anti-communist U.S. Senator Joe McCarthy and warning of a new “Red Scare” targeting conservatives. We should have taken the old Red Scare more seriously and could have avoided our current fate.

Christianity Today’s Call for Trump’s Removal

Mark Galli, editor-in-chief of the former evangelical flagship magazine Christianity Today (CT) wrote a stunning editorial calling for President Trump’s removal from office via either impeachment or the next election. While acknowledging that “Democrats have had it out for him from day one, and therefore nearly everything they do is under a cloud of partisan suspicion,” Galli remarkably asserts that the case for Trump’s removal by hook or crook is indisputable:

But the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents.

Pete Buttigieg: Fool or Wolf in Lamb’s Clothing?

Claiming to be a Christian, faux-married, homosexual Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg wields the Bible as a political weapon with which to bludgeon conservatives. It’s odd then that fellow “progressives” don’t chastise Buttigieg for violating the separation of church and state as they do when theologically orthodox Christians cite their faith as informing their public policy positions. Let’s not forget the chilling words of homosexual New York Times writer Frank Bruni who re-envisions the First Amendment in such a way as to circumscribe narrowly the heretofore free exercise of religion:

I support the right of people to believe what they do and say what they wish — in their pews, homes and hearts.
