Conservative Pastors Are Distancing Themselves from the 2016 Election

election2016-1

The November election is likely to be an intense, brutal fight to the finish, with the Republican candidate Donald Trump needing all of the friends and supporters he can muster. As was evident by his recent statements at the historical “Conversation” event in New York City, where he spoke about religious liberty and related matters to more than 1,000 evangelical leaders, he is counting on widespread support from conservative Christians and their churches in his battle for the presidency.… Continue Reading

Many Christians today, such as Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, are actually “functional atheists” because they won’t stand up for their biblical values in the public square, the sibling real estate team “The Benham Brothers” said this past weekend.

In an email interview that was published by the Conservative Review, Christian twin businessmen and authors Jason and David Benham discussed their second book Living Among Lions: How to Thrive Like Daniel in Today’s Babylon and their thoughts on Hillary Clinton‘s running mate, a Catholic who personally opposes abortion but will not stand in the way of a “woman’s right to choose.”

Hillary Rejects Call To Prevent Child Porn

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton refused to sign a pledge Monday that would protect children from exploitation by the porn industry.

“In past Administrations, the Internet obscenity laws have not been aggressively or adequately enforced. The invasion of graphic online worldwide is ‘the largest unregulated social experiment in human history,’” the signed pledge reads.

Unlike Clinton, Republican nominee Donald Trump signed the pledge, promising that, if elected president, he will  “uphold the rule of law by aggressively enforce existing federal laws to prevent the sexual exploitation of children online, including the federal obscenity laws, child pornography laws, sexual predation laws and the sex trafficking laws.”… Continue Reading

Both Candidates Hide Health Concerns

Many Americans feel desperately dissatisfied with their choices in this presidential campaign, but they may take some comfort in the thought that serious health issues could yet sideline one, or both, of the major party contenders.

Neither Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump has released comprehensive medical records to address serious concerns about the physical condition of these two aging Boomers. If the 70-year-old Trump wins in November, he’ll become the oldest individual ever to assume the nation’s highest office.… Continue Reading

The billionaire, who had dialed back his giving, has committed more than $25 million to supporting Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates and causes.

George Soros is back.

The billionaire investor, who scaled back his political giving after a then-unprecedented $27 million spending spree to try to defeat George Bush in 2004, has quietly reemerged as a leading funder of Democratic politics — and as a leading bogeyman of conservatives.

Soros has donated or committed more than $25 million to boost Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates and causes, according to Federal Election Commission records and interviews with his associates and Democratic fundraising operatives.… Continue Reading

Planned Parenthood President Decries Donald Trump Calling Pregnancy an ‘Inconvenience’

Cecile Richards

Written by Michael Gryboski

Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards denounced Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s comment calling pregnancy an “inconvenience.”

In a speech delivered at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Richards spoke about the issues she had with Trump’s stated views on women and abortion.

“Donald Trump has pledged to appoint justices who will overturn Roe v. Wade and undo decades of progress. His policies aren’t just frightening — they’re rooted in a disturbing worldview,” said Richards.

U.S. Senator Tim Kaine – Planned Parenthood Approved

Tim-Kaine-Planned-Parenthood

Written by Jim Finnegan

No surprise when the left leaning media try’s to sell Irish “catholic” Tim Kaine as a devout Catholic. You gotta be kidding me!  An oxymoron calling one who supports the evil of abortion “Pro Life.”

U.S. Senator Kaine with plenty of chutzpah, joins with the media by calling himself Pro-Life while supporting abortion on demand. You do not get a 100 percent approval rating from Planned Parenthood while being Pro-Life.

Kaine falls back on the tired old canard “I am not in favor of abortion, but would never tell another what to do.… Continue Reading

Billionaire Bankrolling Dems Says There’s Too Much Money In Politics, But Not His

Tom Steyer

Written by Chris White

A prominent billionaire some analysts say is buying the Democratic Party complained Monday night about the influence money has on American politics.

Environmentalist money man Tom Steyer told Bloomberg TV that the country needs financial reform, if not to restore the political system to the people, then at least to make certain that “self-interested” businessmen can’t purchase the government.

“And let me say one thing about campaign finance. We believe that Citizens United was a terrible decision,” Steyer said.… Continue Reading

The political arena is tough and hardened — cross a line or the wrong people and payback is a proverbial you know what. Or worse.

Dinesh D’Souza paid a steep price for his mistake: D’Souza asked two people to contribute a total of $20,000 to the New York Senate campaign of Wendy Long, and later reimbursed them. He pled guilty and was sentenced to five years probation, eight months in a halfway house, a $30,000 fine, eight hours of community service each week, and therapy on a weekly basis.… Continue Reading

Character Still Counts

In choosing the next President, character matters more than ideology. An individual of low character and troubled temperament won’t keep campaign promises, no matter how appealing, and won’t be able to work with others to achieve those goals, even if he tried. What’s more, a president with a tendency toward immature emotionalism will be ill-equipped to respond to sudden challenges that aren’t anticipated in campaign platforms.

Unfortunately, both current candidates face big questions about integrity and character and it’s unlikely either one will change in the course of the campaign.… Continue Reading
