The Department of Homeland Security has announced that the March border apprehension numbers will likely reach 100,000. A record 4,117 migrants were apprehended or “encountered” on Tuesday. If the numbers for March wind up smashing the February numbers, it would show an annual pace of 1.2 million.

Imagine for a moment that groups of Islamic terrorists set up shop at our border, killed tens of thousands of Mexicans, mutilated bodies, controlled a flow of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants every year over our border, and flooded our country with drugs and gangs. These organizations, in our “hypothetical,” operate in over 40 countries, are flush with weapons, money, and military-style tactics, control operations inside our country, and bring in drugs like fentanyl and carfentanil that are essentially chemical weapons.… Continue Reading

For decades, America’s southern border has been virtually non-existent. On a map, one would be able to easily identify the border between the United States of America and Mexico. But having an agreed upon border and enforcing that border are two different discussions. The problem that America has faced is that in most places there is no physical barrier to stop or hinder illegal border crossings.
What has this led to? It has led to millions of illegal border crossings over the past few decades.… Continue Reading

People are having fun lampooning Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s selective exploitation of Scripture to support the Democrats’ advocacy of open borders, but let’s not allow this mirth to distract us from larger questions.
The incoming congresswoman tweeted: “Joy to the World! Merry Christmas everyone — here’s to a holiday filled with happiness, family, and love for all people. (Including refugee babies in mangers + their parents.)”
Let’s put aside that Ocasio-Cortez is conflating the Nativity story described in Luke’s Gospel, in which Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem to register for the Roman census, with Matthew’s description of the couple’s fleeing to Egypt to protect Jesus from King Herod’s decree to murder every boy age 2 or younger in Bethlehem.… Continue Reading

Would you let criminals take your home and hurt your family, or would you pay for a front door that locks?
It typically costs roughly $1,500-$2,000 to purchase and install a no-frills exterior door on your home. Not cheap at all. But would you agonize over the cost for a minute when the entire cost and safety of your whole home and its occupants are on the line, especially when dangerous criminals, burglars, and murderers are specifically targeting your neighborhood for infiltration?… Continue Reading

In just the week since Part I of this two-part series was published, we’ve learned from a new study that the number of foreigners illegally living in the United States is twice as high as the conventionally accepted level of 11.3 million (and could be as high as 29.1 million, as suggested earlier); that Democrats intend to pressure President Donald Trump to raise the refugee resettlement number to 110,000 refugees a year (five times the number of foreign refugees taken in 2018); and that the Border Patrol found nearly 200 illegal aliens from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador wandering in the Arizona desert—the third such finding in the last month.… Continue Reading

All things in life, even good things, have a limit to their utility and a point at which they become liabilities. Think of tasty spices in a dish or other ingredients in a melting pot. Quantities count, particularly over a specific period of time. Immigration is no different.
Recent Census data released from the 2017 American Community Survey (ACS) shows that immigration has grown to shocking, wholly unprecedented levels. Is it too much to ask that we engage in a mature policy discussion after five decades of record immigration with no end in sight?… Continue Reading

Another murder by an illegal alien fails to rouse the nation
What is it going to take for Americans to overthrow the inertia of their political masters in Washington with regard to keeping illegal aliens out of the country? Apparently, more than the cold-blooded murder of its citizens by foreign trespassers.
In July, Mollie Tibbetts’ mutilated body was found after a month-long search, dumped in a cornfield in Brooklyn, Iowa.… Continue Reading
