Public Schools Are Grooming Your Children

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

On April 9, Oklahoma State University hosted a “drag queen story hour” for children as young as 2 years old on its campus. The event was part of the university’s “Pride 2022” celebration. A description for the program stated two drag performers would read books to all attendees and that the drag queen story hour was geared toward children between the ages of 2 to 8, but that “all ages [were] welcome to join in on the fun.”… Continue Reading

The Left, Children and Sex

Written by Laura Hollis

What is it with Leftists and their obsession with children and sexuality?

Seriously, on just about every aspect of sexuality, the Left has it wrong. Their preferred policies have already done incredible amounts of individual, familial and societal damage, and yet they keep pushing for more — and getting away with it. It’s bad enough when those negatively affected are adults. But children are increasingly the targets — and the victims — of these policies.… Continue Reading

America’s ‘Other Mother’ Is A Prostitute

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

It’s a commonly accepted adage that if you want to make someone angry, all you need to do is criticize their mom. You can commit a whole host of sins against a friend or foe that will receive little more than a shrug of indifference, but if you suggest their mother is a prostitute, the gloves will come off. This principle holds not only for one’s biological parent but also for that “other mother” that almost all of us have in common: our respective alma maters, otherwise known as our local public schools.… Continue Reading

SPOTLIGHT: Rev. Mark Moore on What a Faithful Church Body Looks Like

Written by Jenna Smith

As a pastor, what can you do to keep the children of your congregation from being tainted by the humanism of government schools? Start your own K-12 school. Taking it one step further, what can you do to ward off the indoctrination of very young children before it ever has a chance to take root? Start an open enrollment preschool. Our guest this week on Spotlight, Rev. Mark Moore of Belmont Bible Church in Downers Grove, is in the process of realizing both of these goals.… Continue Reading

Disney’s Sex Ed for Kindergartners Crusade

Written by Tim Graham

The libertine left seems extremely aggressive in every corporate workplace today, and they demand that everyone conform with their Orwellian lingo of “inclusivity.” No dissent is allowed from the orthodoxy of the Church of LGBTQIA+.

The folks at Disney — who many moons ago were seen as an entertainment factory for children — have been heavily pressured into submission on a proposed law in Florida that dares to suggest, “Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”… Continue Reading

Violence Is In The Offing And It’s The Fault Of Our Schools

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

This past week while President Joe Biden puttered about the White House, addled and confused, in his rainbow-striped pajamas, two surveys were released that should chill the blood of even the most progressive among us who still think we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

The first survey was conducted by the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education and reported that 23 percent of America’s college students now think it’s okay to use violence to silence those with whom they disagree, and 66 percent currently support shouting down a campus speaker whose ideas they don’t like.… Continue Reading

Schoolchildren’s Lives Have Been Upended. Any Lessons Learned?

Written by Daniel Horowitz

It is now an incontrovertible fact that closing or opening schools had zero bearing on the course of the pandemic or the safety of children who were never at an elevated risk from this pandemic. It’s clear from schools reopening during the worst Delta wave with no extra repercussions that all of the academic, mental health, physical health, and behavior development problems we foisted upon the children were absolutely senseless. This, despite the fact that so many of us knew this for months on end, but our cries fell on deaf ears.… Continue Reading

Parental Educational Rights and Religious Liberty: The Yoder Case Revisited

Written by Dr. John A. Sparks

Throughout the country, parents are concerned that some public schoolboards, administrators, and associations hold them in disdain and fear their input when they raise legitimate questions about the direction of their local schools. Just short of 50 years ago (1972), the U.S. Supreme Court handed down a decision that protects parents in the educational choices they make for their children—Wisconsin v. Yoder. Revisiting Yoder nearly a half-century later is more than a historical exercise. … Continue Reading
