SPOTLIGHT: How Regressive Legislation Forms Cultural Norms

Written by Benjamin Smith

In this week’s Spotlight, Pastor Calvin Lindstrom sits down with Dave Smith and Monte Larrick to discuss the distorted message and disastrous impact of the growing weed wave that is flooding the nation and the incestuous relationship between our elected officials (and their family members) and Big Marijuana. They also offer information about the “opt-out” option for counties and detail how you can encourage your local officials to opt-out of retail marijuana establishments in your area.… Continue Reading

The War On Cops

Written by Gary Bauer

Remember a few weeks ago when videos went viral of people dousing New York City police officers with water while onlookers cheered their approval?  It was pointed out that this would inevitably lead to more violence against cops.

Well, this weekend that warning came true as a cop-hating mob erupted in taunts and violence against police who were patrolling their New York City neighborhood. At one point, people even began throwing objects off of buildings onto the police.… Continue Reading

The Same People Who Pushed Early Release For Gun Felons Now Want to Take Guns Without Due Process

Written by Daniel Horowitz

For every person who fits the profile of the El Paso shooter, there are likely thousands who fit the profile of Maurice Hill, the man arrested for shooting six cops in north Philadelphia [last week]. Based on a quick look at court documents from Philadelphia and Delaware Counties, Hill has a rap sheet dating back to 2001 that includes charges for illegal gun possession, drugs, driving offenses, assault, burglary, theft, robbery, kidnapping, and attempted murder.… Continue Reading

Buttigieg’s Appropriation of God is Not Ok

Written by Peter Heck

In a crowded field of competitors I get what he’s doing.  And politically I don’t blame him.  South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is a longshot candidate who lacks the pedigree, chops, and experience for the office he seeks.  But that doesn’t always matter in presidential primaries.  Often times outsider candidates who find a niche, tap into a core group of committed supporters who are willing to ride with them through thick and thin, can take advantage of the splintering nature of crowded race demographics and pull the upset.… Continue Reading

The Abolition of Women

Written by Dr. Everett Piper

If there was any remaining question that corporate oligarchs and today’s educational ruling class now have near Orwellian control over all of American culture, [recent] news should remove all doubt.

Take for example the story of Dr. Allan Josephson, a distinguished professor and director of the division of child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Louisville, who was recently not only removed from his leadership position and but also informed that his contract for the 2019-20 academic year would not be renewed.… Continue Reading

The Left’s Exclusionary Language

Written by John Kinderaker

A reader points out this article by a liberal in the Atlantic. It is titled “The Left Needs a Language Potent Enough to Counter Trump.” The writer, George Packer, is mostly intent on denouncing President Trump’s “dangerously populist” speech. As usual, the author goes off on Nazi, Hitler, and fascist tropes without acknowledging that the reason why the things Trump says are “populist” is that they make sense to most people, based on their experiences and observations.… Continue Reading

Chicago Mayor Vows to Obstruct the Deportation of Illegal Aliens

Written by Timothy J. Dailey

Last week as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) reportedly conducted the biggest one-day sweep in U.S. history, picking up 680 illegal workers in Mississippi, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has reiterated that her city will not enforce immigration laws.

At a press conference, Lightfoot charged ICE with “terrorizing” and “traumatizing” immigrants, and defiantly stated that the city had “taken measures over the past few weeks to ensure the Chicago Police Department will not cooperate with ICE.” … Continue Reading

Wise and Honest Candidates Needed

Written by John Biver

Illinois Democrats have shoved the most extreme legislation down the throats of Illinoisans by passing the nation’s most radical abortion bill, forcing public school indoctrination of our children, imposing higher taxes and fees and putting more drugs on our streets. The pendulum will not swing back on its own. We need to step up if we hope to counter the billionaire Governor and the Illinois Democrats. ~ IFA’s David E. Smith

Right now, there are many thousands of people who have decided not to give up on Illinois.… Continue Reading

The Left Is on a Mission to Annihilate Conservatism

Written by David Limbaugh

While President Donald Trump is an ideal scapegoat for leftist hatred and demagoguery, the left’s ultimate goal is to permanently reduce conservatism and the Republican Party to minority status by indelibly associating them with racism.

Listen to what the Democratic presidential candidates and other Democrats are saying. If you support border enforcement, you are a racist. If you support Trump, who pushes border enforcement, you are a racist. If you don’t condemn Trump for being a white supremacist, which he is not, you are a white supremacist.… Continue Reading
