Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wants to force the Senate to vote on defunding Planned Parenthood this week, as a second undercover video unleashes a new storm of scrutiny of the organization.
Cruz’s office said Tuesday that he plans to file an amendment on the highway bill that would eliminate all federal funding for Planned Parenthood, in addition to an amendment that would fully repeal ObamaCare.
Cruz is the second senator — and the second GOP presidential candidate — who is eying the highway bill as an attempt to defund Planned Parenthood.… Continue Reading
After the release of yet another shocking undercover video of a Planned Parenthood official negotiating the sale of body parts, Carly Fiorina has responded to the issue with a video of her own. In the video, Fiorina stands with pro-life leaders: Rev. Dean Nelson, Marjorie Dannenfelser, Catherine Davis, Dr. Charmaine Yoest, Lori Hoye, and Pastor Walter Hoye. Fiorina takes the opportunity to lambaste Democrats for standing up for abortion rather than standing up for women:
Hillary Clinton believes that “religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” in order to expand access to abortion.
Clinton said yesterday that it’s not enough to legalize the procedure. “Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced,” she said Thursday, per the Daily Caller. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”… Continue Reading
Former CEO of Hewlett-Packard and likely presidential candidate Carly Fiorina criticized the Democratic Party’s platform of abortion on demand during a recent speech.
Serving as the mistress of ceremonies at the Susan B. Anthony List’s Campaign for Life Gala in Washington, D.C. last week, Fiorina praised the organization and its supporters for their contributions to the pro-life movement.
Fiorina said that while some call the Republican Party’s pro-life platform “extreme,” the Democratic Party’s platform of abortion on demand is hardly mainstream:
Here is what it says: Any abortion, anytime, at any point in a woman’s pregnancy, for any reason, to be paid for by taxpayers.
Last week, the head of the Democratic Party made it clear: There should be no limits on abortion, period — and that includes no limits on abortions up tot the day of birth apparently.
“Here’s the deal—we always seen to have the debate waaaaay over here on what are the exact details of exemptions, or when it starts,” said Paul, waving his hands to the left.
A pro-life leader says now that Hillary Clinton has officially entered the 2016 presidential race, people need to know that she’s as pro-abortion as an individual can get.
“Hillary Clinton is solidly in the pro-abortion camp,” she tells OneNewsNow. “She supports abortion for all nine months of pregnancy, she supports no limits on abortion and she wants our tax dollars to pay for abortions.”… Continue Reading
The U.S. Senate was criticized for blocking an anti-human trafficking bill on Tuesday because Senate Democrats objected to the inclusion of anti-abortion language.
“Stopping human trafficking is too important a priority to be held hostage by the abortion lobby’s culture-warring,” Russell Moore, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, said in a statement.
“I urge the Senate to think about vulnerable women and children in peril, rather than about the political maneuvers of the abortion-industrial complex.”… Continue Reading

This level of incompetence and cowardice should alarm us all.

January 22, 2015 marked the 42nd anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court legalizing abortion on demand throughout pregnancy. The pro-life movement commemorates this day with marches, worship services and lobbying for bills to protect unborn children. Pro-lifers were promised by the Republican leaders they just helped elect and re-elect that the U.S. House of Representatives would pass a bill on Thursday, banning most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, a point after which infants can feel pain and survive if born prematurely.… Continue Reading
