Lots of things today don’t pass the straight face test.

President Joe Biden says the main danger to “democracy” is the “semi-fascist” half of the country that doesn’t vote Democrat. He continues to insist that “white supremacists” pose more of a security threat than China, Russia, Iran and the homegrown goons attacking churches and crisis pregnancy centers.

I’m Done With The Democrats’ ‘Good Intentions’

I used to chalk up liberal policy failures to good intentions gone awry.

Having embraced liberalism in college, I thought it was the best way to help poor people. But as evidence mounted that it hurt them, I had to reassess. Many people also do that after taxes shred their paychecks, especially if they marry and have children.
