GOP Governor Issues Warning of Plot Underway by George Soros

Written by Dennis Michael Lynch

In an opinion piece published in Saturday’s Washington Examiner, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a warning to the GOP that “Democrats in Washington, D.C. are plotting to pour hundreds of millions of dollars in state and local elections across the country” in an effort to buy back power.

Abbott pointed a finger at hedge fund billionaire George Soros, who is helping to fund the National Democratic Redistricting Committee so that it can take away control from voters, noting that congressional re-districting will go into effect in 2021, “when booming conservative states such as Texas will gain seats in the U.S.… Continue Reading

Vote Fraud Panel Frightens the Left

Written by Robert Knight

Judging by the unhinged reaction this past week to the first public meeting of President Trump’s blue-ribbon voter fraud panel, progressives are terrified.

They’re fearful that these election experts are actually going to do the job they’ve been given – uncovering the extent to which the nation’s voter rolls are vulnerable to fraudulent activity. How else to explain the panic and shots fired before the commission even met?

“This is such a threat to democracy, this commission, this voter suppression commission,” huffed MSNBC analyst and Daily Beast columnist Jonathan Alter on MTP Daily (Meet the Press Daily).… Continue Reading

Is It Time to Increase the Size of Congress?

Written by Robert Eno

A statistic from the U.K. election makes one realize how far from the people our own people’s house has gotten. The House of Commons has 650 members for a population of roughly 65 million in the U.K.   That’s one member of parliament – on average – for every 100,000 people. The U.S. House of Representatives has one representative for every 759,000 people. Is it time to readjust the U.S. apportionment model to get our representatives closer to the people?… Continue Reading

Study Shows Google was Biased Toward Clinton

Written by Robert Eno

Which came first, the bias or the search results? That’s a question worth asking after reading a (PDF) by a group of researchers looking at how search results could have affected the 2016 election.

In a short paper presenting their preliminary work, the social scientists showed that search results from Google, in particular, showed bias toward Hillary Clinton in the month leading up to the election. The same scientists, in 2015 (PDF), that biased search results may sway the results of elections.… Continue Reading

3 Bills Sen. Mike Lee Thinks Could Shift Power ‘Back to the People’

Written by Rachel del Guidice

Over the past eight decades, Congress has gradually relinquished its lawmaking role and left it to the administrative state, said a conservative senator at a Capitol Hill event on Wednesday.

“Many Americans now feel that they are not in control of their own government,” Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, said during an event hosted at the Federalist Society’s fifth annual Executive Branch Review Conference. “The administrative state is designed to be insulated from the will of the people.”… Continue Reading

Democrats Repeat the Same Bad Mistakes

Written by Michael Medved

Amid all the evaluations of the first hundred days of President Trump, what about considering the first hundred days of Democrats as the party of opposition?

So far, they’ve shown a destructive tendency to repeat the same mistakes that cost them the election in November.

First, they focus exclusively on attacking the president while counting on scandal to destroy their opponents. Most Americans know what Democrats are against, but they’ve received no clear message about what they’re for.

The Pro-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) organization Human Rights Campaign vociferously opposes the confirmation of Mark Green for Secretary of the Army.

Human Rights Campaign is funded by self-indicted Nazi-collaborator and demonstrably anti-American billionaire George Soros.

“In a 1998 interview with CBS’ Steve Kroft, Soros admitted that he participated in the confiscation of Jewish property under the Nazi occupation. He also explained that he had no remorse for what he had done, and that if he had not participated, somebody else would have done it anyway…In a separate interview, Soros actually called these years, the “happiest” of his life.”… Continue Reading

Despite the media’s best efforts to attack conservatives and Republicans, it seems the American people aren’t buying it. After three months of wall-to-wall coverage about Russian interference in the election, and a general hostile attitude by the media, 96 percent of Trump’s voters would vote for him again, according to a new ABC News/ Washington Post poll.

But that’s not even the biggest story to come out of the poll. A staggering number of American voters think the Democratic Party is “out of touch” with “people’s concerns.”… Continue Reading

Meet the Leftist Billionaire Who Outspends Soros on Politics

Business man with lots of cash.

Written by Robert Eno

Most people who pay attention to politics assume that George Soros is the largest financier of leftist election candidates. While he may have the largest non-profit funding network, Soros is not the person who spent the most directly helping candidates through superPACs or other organizations in 2016. That person is Tom Steyer, a former hedge fund executive who made his fortune in the fossil fuel industry. The Washington Post reported Steyer spent $66.3 million helping Democrats in the 2016 cycle, and the Washington Times reports that the final spend was north of $85 million.… Continue Reading
