Dan Webster is the One Man Who Can Reform Congress. Here’s Why…

Daniel_Webster

Written by John Stemberger

If there is one man who can fundamentally reform the way the United States Congress does business, it is Dan Webster. Why? For the simple reason that we saw him do it in Florida. I have personally observed him in his role as a public servant for 32 years.

Before serving in Washington, D.C., Dan Webster served in the Florida Legislature for 28 years. He was in the Florida House of Representatives for 18 years and appointed by his colleagues to be Speaker.… Continue Reading

9 Important Facts About the Hillary Clinton Email Scandal

ct-hillary-clinton-email-scandal

Written by Ray Nothstine

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appeared triumphant and invigorated after Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders bellowed, “Enough with the damn e-mails!” at last week’s Democrat debate in Las Vegas.

The scandal, which some have compared to Watergate because of its “drip” effect, first surfaced in March and threatens to unravel a campaign that was once seen as a coronation. Clinton, who has brushed aside past scandals like Whitewater and Travelgate, wants to turn the email controversy into the past tense as well.… Continue Reading

Climate Change and Leftist Hypocrisy

205_156257

Written by Bruce Walker

Nothing exposes the cynical hypocrisy of the left more than its jihadist attitude toward the dubious theory of man-made global warming.  The phoniness and selfishness of the left show up in several different ways.

The left pronounces manmade global warming “settled science” but then insists that we continue to spend billions of dollars in climate change research.  If it is truly settled science, then we need to spend no more money at all on research, and if this supposed dire threat requires immediate action by governments, then even research on the best way to contain climate change is unnecessary.… Continue Reading

Top 10 Pro-Family Actions for Next President

White House

Written by Linda Harvey

What should be the top priorities of the next president?

If our next commander in chief is truly a family advocate and a defender of religious liberty, he or she will reject the aggressive, anti-Christian homosexual agenda in all its various dimensions and do everything possible to reverse the damage done under Obama/Biden.

There are other priority lists for our next president that deserve a wide hearing that focus on immigration, national defense, the soaring debt, race relations and at the top, limiting/ending abortion.… Continue Reading

Has Hillary lost the Teamsters over Keystone XL?

Written by Daniel John Sobieski

The Fox News report that the Teamsters have decided not to endorse Hillary Clinton’s candidacy at this time, shortly after her pronouncement of her opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline, does not surprise and shows the peril of trying to be all things to all constituencies.

On the one hand, there is a need to placate environmentalists and climate change true believers who oppose the pipeline from Canada. Among them is billionaire Tom Steyer, an eco-zealot who has pledged his fortune in support of Democratic candidates who want to repeal the Industrial Revolution who want us to rely on solar power even when the sun doesn’t shine and wind turbines when there’s nary a breeze.… Continue Reading

The 2016 Campaign for President and the Info War About the U.S. Constitution

Written by John Biver

Over the course of the past few months I gathered articles about the question of “judicial supremacy” — are U.S. Supreme Court decisions “the law of the land,” or are they rulings on cases?

Here is that page of excerpts, quotes, and links: Judicial Supremacy: Not in the U.S. Constitution, Not the Intention of the Founding Fathers.

Republicans and conservatives rarely even attempt to disseminate information about the U.S. Constitution to the uninformed and misinformed.… Continue Reading

Is Mitch McConnell a Coward? You Decide

ImageGen

Written by Tim Wildmon

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has shown his cowardice. He’s so afraid of President Barack Obama that he won’t even try anymore.

On Monday, McConnell proved he has no stomach for a fight to defund Planned Parenthood, despite overwhelming evidence that it is butchering babies and selling their body parts. I’d say he has no backbone either.

In a radio interview, McConnell said that if he defunded the abortion giant in upcoming spending bills, Obama would veto it, thus shutting down the government and blaming Republicans. … Continue Reading

Ted Cruz Challenges Boehner and McConnell: Stop the Iran Deal

Written by Joel Gehrke

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) provided air support for a revolt underway in the House today, as he called on Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to stop the Iran deal by refusing to hold a vote on the agreement.

Cruz’s mention of GOP leadership drew boos at Wednesday’s rally against the Iran deal on Capitol Hill, which he helped organize. “Hold on: I come not to bury Caesar but to praise him,” Cruz said, quoting from William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.… Continue Reading

Christians & The Law

Kim Davis

Written by Gary Bauer

I am pleased to report that Rowan County, Kentucky, clerk Kim Davis has been released from jail. But I have been very disappointed by the parade of leading Republicans — Donald Trump, Governor Jeb Bush, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Governor Chris Christie and others — who are distancing themselves from Davis.

This sorry episode is yet another example of our side playing by one set of rules while the other side plays by its own.… Continue Reading
