The Democrat Party of 2024 bears no resemblance to the Democrat Party of the 1960s. To be fair, neither does the Republican Party. The important difference is that the Republicans have maintained a commitment to and love for our original principles, while the Democrats have become the party that is ashamed of our founding.

While she didn’t get it into the $2.2 trillion bill to stimulate the economy and help businesses survive the nearly nationwide shutdown during the Coronavirus pandemic, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tried to insert tax credits for solar and wind and CO2 emissions standards for airlines as part of her effort to get America to fight global warming.
And as Tilak Doshi reports in Forbes, she wasn’t the only climate-change opportunist:
