Is the Republican Party no longer America first? Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene seem to think so.
Carlson, former Fox News host and current host of the Tucker Carlson Network, announced last week he no longer supports the Republican Party in an interview with the Canadian podcast, “Can’t Be Censored.”
“There’s no chance I would support the Republican Party,” he said.
“Not going to support the Democratic Party. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”

Over the 19th-21st “Juneteenth” weekend, Chicago experienced multiple violent shootings.
While weekend shootings have become commonplace in the makeup of Chicago living, what was uncommon was both the level of violence and the shocking response from Mayor Brandon Johnson.
Not to mention that this bloody weekend caught national attention to the point where President Trump has once again offered Governor J.B. Pritzker law enforcement help.
What left 7 dead and multiple injured, prompted an unexpected and confusing response from Mayor Johnson.… Continue Reading

In order to understand why this is cause for celebration, context is needed.

This edition of Illinois Family Spotlight features special guest, Christopher Parr of Princeton University.
Christopher Parr, along with Professor Robert George, is part of a volunteer team that leads the June Fidelity Month initiative — a positive alternative to “Pride Month” that encourages faithfulness to God, family, and community.
With America drifting more and more away from faith, family, and freedom, Fidelity Month seeks to once again unify Americans around the core values of our faith in God, our founding documents, our covenant marriages, and our families.… Continue Reading

Illinois State Representative Barbara Hernandez (D-Aurora) and State Senator Celina Villanueva (D-Chicago) co-sponsored the bill, HB5093.
This bill would expand in-state tuition eligibility for students who are here illegally attending a public Illinois university. Lawmakers want to make sure that illegal immigrants receive the same tuition reduction perks as legal, law-abiding Illinois residents.
Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, this bill passed both Houses with Democrats in favor and Republicans in opposition.
Once again, Illinois Democrats prove that illegal immigrants are equal to legal, Illinois residents and deserve to be compensated with your hard-earned tax dollars.… Continue Reading

This week’s episode of Illinois Family Spotlight features highlights from a Springfield prayer gathering that IFI was a part of.
Illinois is in a spiritual battle. Yes, our voices and our votes are important. But, the deeper issue is a lack of repentance and faith in God.
IFI’s Executive Director, David Smith, was able to give an address at this prayer gathering.
“Can we not see that God is beginning to curse our blessings?

In this episode, Rebecca Leland unpacks the current dating landscape and how Christians can still be intentional about finding faith-centered community.
