Why Do Most Women Support Joe Biden?

Written by Thomas Hampson

Why do so many women, a majority of them, support Joe Biden? Is it because of his abortion stance?

There was a surge of support for him in 2022 after the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v Wade decision. Is that the reason? Are women so committed to the “my body, my choice” mantra of the left that they can’t see beyond this issue?

I don’t understand.

It’s not like the U.S. President has any say over abortion. He can’t wave a wand and make abortion legal or illegal. All the U.S. Supreme Court did was send the matter back to the states.

So what is his appeal to women? He’s a kindly, warm, grandfatherly old man? He’s a loving, faithful husband, father, grandfather? This is the claim, but what is the truth?

Let’s start with the loving, faithful husband. There is some evidence that this is not true.

Bill Stevenson, Jill Biden’s first husband, alleges that the claim Jill and Joe didn’t meet until 1975, after her divorce, was a lie. Stevenson says, as reported on Inside Edition:

“According to Stevenson, both he and Jill first got to know Joe Biden when Biden was a county councilman in New Castle, Delaware. Stevenson says he asked for Biden’s help obtaining a liquor license. Stevenson also says he threw a fundraiser for Joe that raised between $2,500 and $3,000.

“’We got married in ’70, I introduced Joe to Jill in ‘72. Right before the election in ‘72, Jill, Joe, Neilia and I were in his kitchen. How do you forget that?’ Stevenson said.

“That would be three years before the now-famous ‘blind date.’ Stevenson says his first inkling something was up came when Jill refused to go with him to meet Bruce Springsteen, who was booked to appear at The Stone Balloon [the bar Stevenson owned].

“She said, ‘Joe asked me to keep an eye on the boys.’ And I just thought in the back of my mind, ‘hmm!’ Stevenson said.”

“Then, one day, Stevenson says a man came into his bar and asked him to pay damages for a fender bender that involved Jill.

“He looks at me and he says, ‘Oh, she wasn’t driving.’ I said, ‘Her beloved Corvette, she wasn’t driving it?’ He goes, ‘Senator Biden was driving it.’ And I went, ‘What?’ Stevenson said.

“Stevenson said he confronted Jill at the time, but ‘she didn’t say anything’ and ‘just looked at me.’”

Stevenson also said that Jill and Biden started their relationship before Biden’s first wife was killed.

Is this story true? I don’t know. It sounds credible, but Jill and Joe Biden dispute it. However, this story is not an isolated example of stories that challenge Biden’s character and conduct.

What about the numerous allegations throughout Biden’s career by multiple women that Biden engaged in inappropriate touching and intrusively invading their personal space? There are countless examples of this. Here are a few:

1.) Amy Lappos: In 2009, Lappos claimed that Biden grabbed her by the head, put his hand around her neck, and rubbed noses with her during a fundraiser. Although she said Biden’s actions were not sexual, his actions were disrespectful and made her uncomfortable.

2.) J. Hill: In 2012, during a fundraising event, Hill said Biden put his hand on her shoulder and then moved it down her back. She said it was very uncomfortable.

3.) Vail Kohnert-Yount: In 2013, Kohnert-Yount, a former White House intern, alleged that Biden put his hand on the back of her head and pressed his forehead to hers while introducing himself, an uncomfortable experience.

4.) Lucy Flores: In 2014, during yet another campaign event, Flores alleged Biden approached her from behind, put his hands on her shoulders, smelled her hair, and kissed the back of her head. She described the encounter as “embarrassing” and “shocking.”

5.) Sofie Karasek: Karasek is a rights activist for survivors of sexual abuse. During the 2016 Academy Awards she shared the stage with Lady Gaga and 50 other abuse survivors. When Karasek told the story of a sexual assault victim who had died by suicide, Biden. who was at the Awards that year leaned down, took her hands and put his forehead on hers. Karasek described the gesture as “unwelcome, uncomfortable and strange.”

6.) Caitlyn Caruso: In 2019, Caruso, a sexual assault survivor, during and event on sexual assault at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, said Biden rested his hand on her thigh and then hugged her “just a little bit too long.” When his hand was on her thigh, she squirmed in her chair to show discomfort. Caitlyn was 19 years old at the time.

7.) Tara Reade: Then there is the case of Tara Reade, who disclosed in 2020 that when she worked for Joe Biden in the 1990s, he had engaged in inappropriate touching of her, such as rubbing her shoulders and neck, and that he sexually assaulted her in 1993. She said he pinned her against the wall in the U.S. Senate office building and penetrated her with his fingers. She made an official report of the touching and the assault to what she called the U.S. Senate personnel office.

Instead of investigating, she was fired a month later. Reade reported what happened to her mother and a staff member who worked for Ted Kennedy immediately after her assault. Two years later, she also discussed it with another Senate staffer. Biden and Biden’s other staff say it never happened, while the people who Reade told contemporaneously supported Reade’s version.

Several of these incidents have been confirmed by video or photographic evidence. There are mountains of video and photo evidence involving scores of women and girls all over the internet.

The Reade story can’t be confirmed. The Senate office didn’t keep any records from the time period and Biden refuses to open his U.S. Senate office records stored at the University of Delaware for inspection.

That’s a little suspicious. But it is not proof.

In addition to the Reade accusation, one of the more disturbing claims is the report in Ronald Kessler’s book, “The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal Hidden Lives of the Presidents,” published in 2014. In the book, Kessler reports that when Biden was Vice President, he frequently walked around and swam in the nude in front of female Secret Service agents. The female agents hated being assigned to his details because of this and other behaviors that made them uncomfortable. This report was confirmed by multiple agents, and neither Biden nor his office has ever denied it.

Another of Biden’s clearly perverted behaviors was his practice of showering with his daughter. Biden’s daughter wrote about that in her diary, which came to light after she inadvertently left it where she had been staying. It was found by a couple who then sold it to Project Veritas. The diary was disclosed publicly. In it, Ashley Biden said:

“But I have always been boy crazy. I remember pulling up my skirt in 2nd grade and showing the boys my underpants. Hyper-sexualized @ a young age. What is this due to? Was I molested. I think so – I can’t remember specifics but I do remember trauma – I remember not liking the Woolzacks house; I remember somewhat being sexualized with Caroline; I remember having sex with friends @ a young age; showers w/my dad (probably not appropriate); Being turned on when I wasn’t suppose[sic] to be. I remember the Q-tips – I hated getting my ears clean; beating my vagina due to overhearing parents having sex; what made me so attached?

–My mother not emotionally available

–My father was

–Message – I could get love from men.

–“I’m not your mother”

–Blanket being taken away

–Not letting myself go to bathroom

–Being wiped until too late in the game

–I could list all the reasons

–But I can’t seem to find the solution.”

Ashley Biden has confirmed the authenticity of the diary on several occasions.

There is something disgustingly deranged about a father showering with his daughter.

Considering his long history of inappropriate touching and hugs, and of exhibitionism with female Secret Service agents, it’s pretty clear there is something profoundly wrong with Biden. He is a predator—a creepy predator but a predator nonetheless.

Moreover, Biden’s complete overhaul of Title IX erases women altogether. Under the new rules, set to take effect in August, a guy who says he’s a girl can use the women’s bathrooms and locker rooms and can play on women’s sports teams. And vice versa. These regulations apply to any public or private school, college, library or museum that receives any federal funds.

How do the Biden-supporting women like that?

How do they like any of this? None of this seems very kind, warm, or grandfatherly. Nor does he seem much like a loving faithful husband, father, and grandfather.

It seems to me that women should reconsider who they support.
