By targeting widespread fraud in the commercial trucking industry—specifically illicit testing schemes and unqualified foreign drivers—the administration is taking long-overdue action to protect American lives.

A primary concern for many citizens is the lack of English proficiency among commercial operators. Language is not merely a formality; it is a safety necessity. Drivers must be able to converse with the public, read highway signs, and respond to official inquiries.
