Stop Fighting and Voters May Send You Home

This past Tuesday night, an under-funded, long shot TEA Party candidate, soundly defeated the 2nd ranking member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Eric Cantor,  in the Virginia Primary.   This is sending shock waves through parts of Washington.

I think Rep. Cantor is a good man, but his opponent successfully made issues out of amnesty and Obamacare.   So many people go to Washington campaigning to drain and clean up the swamp, but years later they seem to act as if that swamp has become a hot tub.… Continue Reading

LGBTQ “Marriage” Will Destroy the GOP

Written by Bryan Fischer

Politico recently featured a David Lampo piece, Gay Marriage Will Destroy the GOP. Politico is exactly right that gay marriage will destroy the GOP, but for precisely the opposite reason Lampo imagines.

Lampo’s argument is that if the GOP does not embrace gay marriage, it is doomed. The truth of the matter is exactly the opposite: it is embracing gay marriage that will doom the GOP and consign it to the ash heap of history.… Continue Reading

Someone Tell The Record Polar Ice Cap It Should Be Melting

James Taylor (no, not the singer, as this James Taylor isn’t afraid of pointing out) is “the managing editor of Environment & Climate News, a national monthly publication devoted to sound science and free-market environmentalism. He is also senior fellow for The Heartland Institute, focusing on energy and environment issues.” In a short post at Heartlands’ website, he demolishes the whole “the oceans are rising because of melting glaciers” scare mongering going on in the dishonest media fueled by the political left.… Continue Reading

NOT Jeb Bush

A conservative icon says while it appears many in the establishment GOP are already rallying around Jeb Bush as their choice for 2016, he thinks it would be better to nominate a “good, principled conservative” to run against someone like Hillary Clinton.

During a recent luncheon in San Antonio, U.S. House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said he has “nudged” former Florida Governor Jeb Bush (above) to run for president in 2016. Bush has already indicated he is considering a run; and both his brother, George W.Continue Reading

U.S. Representative Trey Gowdy Silences the Press

Written by David E. Smith

The dominant media just doesn’t seem to want to ask the tough questions about the Benghazi scandal. However, U.S. Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) lays it all out for the media.  One can only hope that some of them were taking note.

This is most certain the most shameful events that has occurred in the last two years of the Obama administration. The complicit media has not done enough to investigate this outrageous attack on American facility and the murder of  four Americans — an attack that just happened on the anniversary of September 11th and carried out by radical Muslim terrorists affiliated with Al Qaeda. Continue Reading

Voter Fraud: An Existential Threat to America

Written by James Simpson, Accuracy in Media

It is difficult to describe the enormity of the crime being committed by the Obama administration and their Democratic allies. They flagrantly flout the law, while simultaneously turning it into a weapon against political opponents, use government agencies to target innocent Americans, attempt to create legal voters through amnesty, and undermine voter integrity measures to facilitate vote fraud, while denying it even exists. In short, they are corrupting the entire process.… Continue Reading

Obamacare More Unpopular Than Ever

Written by Naomi Lopez Bauman

While the president and his political allies have been celebrating ObamaCare’s “success,” not everyone is sharing this sentiment. In fact, most people are now taking the opposite view.

According to a recent Pew Research Center/USA TODAY survey, more Americans disapprove of the Affordable Care Act now than when the law was enacted. Americans, now that they know what is in the president’s sweeping health law, don’t seem to like it. In fact, the law’s approval rating has barely budged, moving to 41 percent from 40 percent since the law was enacted in 2010.

How to Treat Your Politician

What Christians Should Learn from the “Gay Lobby”

Written by Pastor John Kirkwood

I have accepted a seat in the [Massachusetts] House of Representatives, and thereby have consented to my own ruin, to your ruin, and the ruin of our children. I give you this warning, that you may prepare your mind for your fate.~John Adams, to Abigail Adams, May 1770

Congress should be a burden. It should be like Joe Arpaio’s tent jail.… Continue Reading
