Illinois House Democrats are once again advancing sanctuary policies that place the interests of non-citizens ahead of law-abiding citizens.
During debate on House Bill 5093, lawmakers approved legislation removing key residency requirements for in-state tuition eligibility at public colleges and universities. While presented as a technical adjustment, the real effect is clear: expanding taxpayer-subsidized tuition benefits to individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States.
The bill’s sponsor, State Representative Barbara Hernandez (D-Aurora), acknowledged that the measure eliminates the requirement that a student be an Illinois resident while still allowing eligibility for those who attended and graduated from an Illinois high school.… Continue Reading

Illinois families are constantly being squeezed by state lawmakers, and this is especially true at the gas pump.
State Representatives Regan Deering (R-Decatur), C.D. Davidsmeyer (R-Jacksonville), and Ryan Spain (R-Peoria) are calling for immediate relief through House Bill 5738, which would suspend the state’s sales tax on gasoline for six months. At current prices, that would mean roughly 20 cents per gallon back in the pockets of Illinois families.
As gasoline prices climb above $4.00 per gallon in many parts of the state, Illinois drivers are paying not only for global energy pressures, but for one of the highest gas tax burdens in the nation.… Continue Reading

Angel Families, relatives of Americans killed by illegal immigrants, shared their heartbreaking stories at a White House event on April 9, 2026. These are the faces and voices that many Democrats and much of the mainstream media choose to ignore. They are real families grieving losses they believe were preventable due to current border policies.
The media often dismisses these stories because they don’t fit the prevailing narrative. Instead, outlets prioritize emotional coverage of illegal immigrants facing deportation while overlooking American families devastated by preventable crimes.… Continue Reading

Governor JB Pritzker is once again making headlines—this time calling for President Donald Trump to be removed from office under the 25th Amendment. His justification? The strong language Trump has used toward the Shiite (Shai) Islamist regime governing the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Pritzker has publicly questioned the president’s mental fitness, labeling his rhetoric “dangerous” and calling him a “deranged madman,” adding, “It’s past time. The 25th Amendment must be invoked.”… Continue Reading

The U.S. Supreme Court does not hand down 8–1 rulings very often, especially on culture-war issues. So when this Court—this Court—lands almost unanimously on one side, it’s an earthquake.
Justices John Roberts, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, AND the Court’s conservatives all converged to say a particular law in Colorado was unconstitutional. Cue the earthquake.
The case has to do with “conversion therapy.” The term has been deceitfully used by LGBTQ proponents for many years to equate it with a barbaric practice.… Continue Reading

One of the most preposterous claims from liberals is that somehow, conservatives uniquely try to win elections by using “fear,” “hate” and “division,” especially on race and religion. Democrats never use any divisive, negative tactics when trying to motivate voters. It’s like they’ve never heard Chuck Schumer saying a Republican voter-ID bill is “Jim Crow 2.0.”
On March 24, PBS stations debuted a long negative campaign commercial disguised as a documentary titled “White With Fear,” on how “America’s conservative political machine uses racial fault lines to gain power.”… Continue Reading

Even as Christianity shows signs of regaining some cultural ground after years of steady decline, other socio-political religious movements are quietly but rapidly expanding across the United States. While Religiously Unaffiliated (atheists, agnostics, and “nones”) is the growing category overall, according to this article by Quora, Hinduism is also “quietly expanding by immigration.”
Nevertheless, Islam is now widely recognized as the third-largest religion in America, and its growth trajectory continues upward.… Continue Reading

The rallying cry of the pro-abortion movement has always been “My Body, My Choice.” Abortion has always been sold as empowering for women, allowing them to exercise control over what happens to their own bodies. A typical response to any pro-life argument is, “If you don’t like abortion, don’t get one.”
However, this line of argumentation ignores the heartbreaking, and all too common, cases in which the abortion is unwanted by the mother.… Continue Reading
