Illinois School District Defies Title IX… Again

Written by Alyssa Sonnenburg

It is unfortunately unsurprising that yet another school district in Illinois has defied the clear privacy and safety protections that Title IX puts in place.

Illinois School District 203, located in Naperville, is currently in the spotlight for allowing a biological male to participate in the female’s track meet.

Not only was the biological male allowed to participate in this athletic event, but he (surprise, surprise) won the track meet.

This should, of course, come as no surprise to those of us who acknowledge a basic biological fact which states that biological males have distinct physical advantages over biological females.

National Review adeptly notes,

“Males have inherent biological advantages, such as taller body height, more lean body mass, more muscle mass, greater muscle strength, larger hearts and lungs, higher maximal oxygen consumption, and stronger bones than similarly aged, gifted, and trained females…”

The article goes on to note that no amount of hormone therapy can change this biological advantage:

“Even after a male has undergone hormone therapy, research shows that, while those biological advantages decrease, they are still far more prominent than similarly aged and trained women. Men have 30–60 percent higher muscle strength than women, and undergoing testosterone suppression decreases that strength by only 0–9 percent — a far cry from an even playing field for even the strongest female athletes.”

Biology is clear and unrelenting in the truth that biological males will always be biological males – no matter how hard they try to suppress that truth.

Republican U.S. Representative Mary Miller (IL-15), who has been on the front lines for years when it comes to defending truth, is calling on the Trump Administration to immediately revoke the federal funds that District 203 receives.

District 203 is in clear violation of Title IX and President Trump’s Executive Order 14201, “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.”

Rep. Miller has also been a proponent of calling on the Trump Administration to investigate the IHSA, to revoke Illinois School District 109’s federal funding, and has even introduced H.R. 2452 which would codify Trump’s Executive Order 14201 into law.

Rep. Miller commented,

“Girls across Illinois are being forced to compete on an unfair playing field, and it’s time to say enough. JB Pritzker’s radical trans agenda is destroying women’s sports and betraying an entire generation of young female athletes…

Let me be clear: if you violate Title IX, you must be held accountable to the full extent of the law. I will not let our girls be pushed aside and silenced.”

Representative Miller is absolutely correct.

Women and girls deserve safety and privacy in their sports and their spaces, and this school district must be held accountable.

“Naperville parents will spend literally tens of thousands of dollars on sports throughout their daughters lives: travel teams, coaches, summer camps, traveling to tournaments and meets, etc. and when their daughter steps up for her chance to win a state championship or medal, she’ll lose to a biological male. That once in a lifetime moment gone because of DEI’s political agenda.” – Doug MacGregor, Naperville Resident.
