Liberals Are Lying to You While Turning America Upside Down
Written by Dr. Everett Piper
M. Scott Peck once said that America had become a “people of the lie.” His point was that our nation’s establishment — our leaders in government, media and education, along with the hoard of mindless lemmings who parrot their every decree — have lied so often to others and even to themselves that they have come to believe their own deception.
“The central defect of the evil,” he said, “is not the sin but the refusal to acknowledge it.” He went on:
“[Lies are now what define us]. While usually subtle, [our deception] is remarkably consistent. This is because [we] have ‘crossed over the line.’ [We] are characterized by [our] absolute refusal to tolerate the sense of [our] own sinfulness. … [Our] goodness is all on a level of pretense. It is, in effect, a lie. Actually, the lie is designed not so much to deceive others as to deceive [our]selves. We lie only when we are attempting to cover up something we know to be illicit.”
If this doesn’t describe our time and our day, what does?
“We the People” have become the “people of the lie.” Our nation is now awash in a sea of deception so vast and of so many lies that it’s hard to count them all.
Proponents of critical race theory say they’re fighting racism while flaunting their own racism.
Pedagogues of Social Emotional Learning claim to teach “emotional maturity” while they groom your children to be little more than self-obsessed, self-absorbed and self-indulgent narcissists.
Champions of LGBTQIA+ lecture the world about sexual choice while demanding it should be illegal for counselors to help people change their behavior, change their desires and change their choice.
Trans-advocates “Black-face” women by dressing in cartoonish drag while shamelessly claiming to be pro-women.
Feminists pretend to stand for female rights while denying the genetic reality of the female.
Black Lives Matter shouts that all Black lives must matter while applauding the eugenic butchery of millions of Black babies by the hands of the predominantly white people at Planned Parenthood.
School Boards call parents who fight to protect their children from the terror of child porn terrorists.
The NCAA says that male athletes who claim to be women are champions of women’s sports.
MSNBC (and virtually every other journalistic outlet in the nation) dumbs down the word “insurrection” while at the same time calling the looting and burning that turned Kenosha into Mogadishu a peaceful protest.
Liberals who pretend to care so much about America’s Constitution declare in their very next breath that our country’s ideals are systemically evil and that the writers of our seminal documents were merely imperialists working to codify their “privilege.”
Educators argue that “history” must be taught in our schools while at the same time lauding the “1619 Project,” which even liberal scholars admit is more propaganda than education and anything but valid history.
Advocates of “my body, my choice” demonize you and me for saying, “it’s my body, and therefore, my choice as to what I do or don’t inject into it.”
Dr. Anthony Fauci “humbly” boasts, “I am science” while scolding his detractors to stop questioning him (something that anyone with even an eighth-grade education in science knows is precisely the opposite of science).
Little Napoleon runs hyperventilating into the fray, crying, “We’re all going to die” from a virus that has a 99% survival rate. This Chicken Little of a man cries, “the sky is falling,” while those of us smart enough to spurn his foul warnings still enjoy blue skies.
The list could go on and on for pages.
Champions of “love trumps hate” shamelessly foment hate. Soldiers of tolerance shout they just can’t tolerate your intolerance. Dutiful parrots chatter that they are sure that nothing is sure and that they know nothing can be known. Anti-absolutists say they are absolutely confident there are no absolutes. Ministers of Marx preach that socialism is good for the living even though it has left 100 million dead in its wake. Ideological fascists accuse all who are trying to dodge the crushing blow of the fasces of being fascists.
It’s all a lie. The emperor is naked as a jaybird, and an entire nation stands watching the parade and applauding his glorious clothes. May just a handful wake up and listen to the little boy who still has eyes to see, ears to hear and the courage to speak.
Oh, pray God, for a remnant. “One man can change the world with a bullet [of truth] in the right place,” said Malcom McDowell, as Mick Travis.
Endnote: It is a sad commentary on the state of our nation’s intellect that I feel obliged to add the parenthetical to Mr. McDowell’s quote. But I do so, desiring to avoid a FBI visit at my front door. If American education has accomplished anything, it is the successful killing of poetry and metaphor.
