The True Voice of American Women

Written by Eva Miller

Republicans have been stereotyped for years as the party of “old, rich white men,” which   Democrats have exploited to win over young female voters. The greater number of Democrat women elected to Congress as compared to Republican women was used against Republicans. For example, in the 2018 Primaries, a record 102 women were elected/re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, and out of that number, only 13 were Republicans.

The left-wing women on Capitol Hill are so confident in their power that some have coined the term “squad” for themselves, as if they were big-shot celebrities. The “squad” consists of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), Ayanna Pressley (MA) and Rashida Tlaib (MI), all arrogant, power-hungry women who claim to represent all American women. Looking at the recent 2020 General Election results, however, it seems that many American women beg to differ.

Republicans saw a record number of women elected to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. Staunch Republican women won several new seats in the House on November 3, and among those women is my mother, Mary Miller.

My mother was motivated to run when she heard the squad claiming to speak for her. The idea that those radicals would proclaim to the nation and the world that they represent women offended my mom.  She saw their claims as an insult to all she holds dear as a woman, and she guessed that was the case for millions of other women across America who truly value life, faith, family, and freedom. My mother believes it is these values that have made our country great. That is why, after homeschooling her children and helping to run the family farm, Mary Miller chose to rise from the sidelines and enter the world of politics.

Encouraged to run by local conservative businessmen, my mother went on to win the four-way primary for U.S. Representative by 34 points. She ran on the slogan of Faith, Family, Freedom, and Economic Opportunities, all priorities for Illinois’ 15th district.

On November 3rd, my mother won the General Election by 73.5 percent. I know firsthand that Mary Miller is a principled woman who passionately supports the U.S. Constitution, including the much attacked First and Second Amendments. She is unashamedly pro-life and eagerly looks forward to representing her district, the state of Illinois, and the true beliefs of Americans—women and men alike—come January 21st.
