Written by David E. Smith

During this period of social distancing and stay-at-home orders, how can conservatives effectively communicate in ways that will affect election outcomes and impact our culture? Carol Davis says social media is a great medium to disseminate these messages.

In her address at the Women Win 2020 conference that was held in Washington, D.C. and sponsored by FreedomWorks, Davis presented tips for making the most of Facebook posts and shares and Twitter tweets and retweets. She also emphasized the need to carefully vet sources and their stories before passing them on.

Listen to learn how you can utilize texting, memes, Google alerts, and more to promote conservative views – and please share this Spotlight podcast with your friends and family members.

Carol Davis is the chair of FreedomWorks’ Activists Advisory Council. Additionally, she serves as chairman of the Executive Committee of Illinois Conservative Union.
