SO HAVE YOU SEEN ENOUGH …
… with the greatest healthcare system on the planet virtually destroyed by federally-mandated socialized medicine?
… with America’s feckless foreign policy, squandering blood-soaked accomplishments in the Middle East and a porous border totally void of any enforcement?
… with the wanton slaughter of four American patriots in Benghazi trivialized by the most incompetent, corrupt administration in our history?
… with the IRS treachery against law-abiding U.S.… Continue Reading

This past Tuesday night, an under-funded, long shot TEA Party candidate, soundly defeated the 2nd ranking member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Eric Cantor, in the Virginia Primary. This is sending shock waves through parts of Washington.
I think Rep. Cantor is a good man, but his opponent successfully made issues out of amnesty and Obamacare. So many people go to Washington campaigning to drain and clean up the swamp, but years later they seem to act as if that swamp has become a hot tub.… Continue Reading

Although no official statement has come from State Senator Sam McCann, rumors persist that the Carlinville Republican is seriously considering a third-party run for governor of Illinois.
While still possible to get on the ballot, McCann would need to gather at least 25,000 petition signatures by June 23rd – the last day independents or new party candidates can turn in petitions to the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).
On top of that, anyone that circulated petitions for primary gubernatorial candidates of either party cannot circulate for an independent party candidate.… Continue Reading

(Chicago) – Several Chicago Democratic legislators have found themselves with Republican challengers for the November 2014 elections.
The Chicago Republican Party has wrapped up its recruiting season, filing four Illinois General Assembly candidates for seats in the City of Chicago. The four are in addition to the eight candidates slated Chicago GOP recruited last year.
Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan‘s organization challenged the petitions of several Chicago GOP candidates last year and easily knocked them off the ballot.… Continue Reading

Politico recently featured a David Lampo piece, Gay Marriage Will Destroy the GOP. Politico is exactly right that gay marriage will destroy the GOP, but for precisely the opposite reason Lampo imagines.
Lampo’s argument is that if the GOP does not embrace gay marriage, it is doomed. The truth of the matter is exactly the opposite: it is embracing gay marriage that will doom the GOP and consign it to the ash heap of history.… Continue Reading
