“There are Only Two Sexes”

Transgender ideology has wreaked havoc across America.

Biological men, claiming to be women, have insisted on infiltrating women’s restrooms, locker rooms, and sports.

Because of the radical policies allowing this infiltration, women’s privacy was revoked, championships were lost, and opportunities were ripped away.

However, consequences of this ideology have been even more severe than this. The infiltration of men into women’s spaces has led to egregious violent acts.

In January of 2024, NBC New York reported on an incident where a biological male, claiming to be a woman, sexually violated a female prisoner on Riker’s Island.

“A former prisoner in the Rose M. Singer women’s jail on Rikers Island is suing New York City, alleging jail staff ignored her warnings in 2022 that a transgender woman housed among females was actually a man pretending to be a woman in order to prey on the opposite sex behind bars.”

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated, one-time incident. Quite the contrary, this is more frequent than you might expect.

Back in October of 2021, a Virginia judge found a male, identifying as female, guilty of sexual assault in a Loudoun County High School girl’s bathroom.

In this particular incident, the school board of this high school tried, and thankfully failed, to cover up the fact that this male was “transgender.”

In 2017, Fox News reported on a horrific incident of a 10-year-old girl being assaulted by a man claiming to be a “transgender woman.”

These are just three cases among many.

U.S. Representative Mary Miller (IL-15) not only understands the very real danger facing a society that does not recognize biological reality, but she is willing to take action.

Congresswoman Miller, along with U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS), have officially introduced the Defining Male and Female Act.

This piece of legislation would codify President Trump’s Executive Order announcing that the United States government would only recognize “male” and “female.”

This bill would establish clarity on the biological definition of “male” and “female,” and would reinforce that federal law has the duty and responsibility to uphold truth.

In her statement, Miller commented on the importance of this bill:

“Now more than ever, we must unite to uphold the truth and biological reality established by God that there are only two sexes. I am proud to stand alongside Senator Marshall in introducing the House companion to the Defining Male and Female Act to ensure our nation upholds common sense and puts an end to the Left’s dangerous and extreme sexual fantasies.”

Senator Marshall’s statements on this bill echoed Miller’s passion for truth and clarity:

“The Democrats’ radical transgender agenda is dangerous and wrong. We shouldn’t need legislation to tell us the basic reality that there are only two sexes, but here we are. I’m thankful President Trump has made this a top priority and signed an Executive Order on his first day in office recognizing that there are only two sexes. Congress must ensure this historic action is written into law by passing the Defining Male and Female Act.”

As Senator Marshall, noted, it is devastating that our society needs a piece of legislation clearly defining biological reality.

Nonetheless, this bill is a necessity for the health and safety of our society, and Christians across America should be incredibly grateful to U.S. Representative Miller and U.S. Senator Marshall for their dedication to truth.
