Trump’s Return Signals End to Biden Regime’s Train Wreck

President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance will take over [today], relieving the nation of the Biden administration’s train wreck.

Even many liberals are breathing a sigh of relief. President Biden and his fellow Democrats have done incredible damage to their party. They have turned it into a clown car full of Marxists, sexual radicals and outright lunatics who are good only at ruining entire cities and states. For reference, see San Francisco’s homeless camps, the Los Angeles fires and the Golden State of California under the rule of Gov. Gavin Newsom and a supermajority Democrat legislature. Or take a ride on New York’s subways, but don’t stand too close to the tracks or interfere with nutcases who terrify passengers.

No matter the issue – crime, homelessness, illegal immigration, foreign policy, deficits, high taxes, failing schools, the price of gasoline or even garbage collection – Democrats always make it worse.

For years, they’ve gotten away with blaming Republicans. For instance, Mr. Biden said he had inherited 9% inflation from the previous Trump administration. It was actually 1.2%.

Mr. Biden also insisted that the invasion by millions of illegal immigrants since 2021 was the fault of Mr. Trump, who had largely secured the border.

Mr. Biden came into office like a fire-breathing dragon instead of the moderate unifier he pretended to be during the election. In angry speeches, he slandered Mr. Trump and the MAGA movement as “semi-fascist” while deploying the FBI and Justice Department goons as his version of the KGB.

Lawfare, arrests of Trump presidential aides, two impeachments, sham Jan. 6 hearings, a raid on Mar-a-Lago and government-directed social media censorship took place, abetted by obsequious media.

Mr. Biden and whoever has been pulling the strings for the mentally challenged president have not graciously ceded power. Over the past few weeks, they have transferred billions of dollars in student loans to the taxpayers, issued orders to hamper energy production, and fought to ensure that biological males can access females’ locker rooms and sports.

In all of this, the Democratic Party has been complicit. Last week, they opposed a House bill (HR 28) that would amend Title IX to cut off federal funds to institutions that allow “a person whose sex is male to participate in an athletic program or activity that is designed for women or girls.”

It is amazing that Congress even needs to vote on this, but here we are.

All 218 Republicans voted yes, with only two Democrats. One Democrat voted “present,” and the rest voted no. Some went further. ”Squad” member Ayanna Pressley, Massachusetts Democrat, actually said the bill would allow officials “to demand to inspect your child’s genitals without parental consent.”

How about looking at a birth certificate? And what’s with this sudden concern over “parental consent?”

Democrats abhor parental consent when taking young girls to abortion clinics or when school officials secretly steer boys into identifying as girls and vice versa. They hate seeing parents speak out to oppose critical race theory, sexual grooming or anti-American curricula. But parents are not the only people to be feared. In his televised farewell address on Wednesday, Mr. Biden invoked Dwight D. Eisenhower’s famous concern about a “military-industrial complex.”

Mr. Biden intoned: “I’m equally concerned about the potential rise of a tech industrial complex that could pose real dangers for our country as well. Americans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation and disinformation, enabling the abuse of power.”

That’s rich, coming from a guy whose Justice Department trampled all over the Constitution while jailing political opponents. The Biden administration also used government power against people who challenged COVID-19 mandates or climate hysteria.

The most obvious target of Mr. Biden’s rhetoric is Elon Musk, whose conversion of Twitter into X was instrumental in the GOP sweep by allowing the free flow of information. He supported Mr. Trump’s election and now heads the non-governmental Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This makes him a very bad man.

Mr. Biden also warned of “a dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very few ultra-wealthy people and the dangerous consequences if their abuse of power is left unchecked.”

Do you mean like George Soros, the Hungarian-born leftist billionaire?

He is the biggest donor to the Democratic Party and has funded every left-wing group, from Black Lives Matter to the American Civil Liberties Union. His money facilitated the election of leftist prosecutors in cities such as Philadelphia, St. Louis, San Francisco and Los Angeles, enabling criminals to run rampant.

One thing that needs to end is the criticism that Democrats are incompetent. It’s not true. They’ve been quite successful at stoking division and weakening America to pave the way for their socialist utopia.

In any honest account, Mr. Biden’s and Vice President Kamala Harris’s term will go down as four years of American decline, disharmony, abuses of power, and feckless foreign policy.

But, for the moment, their door is closing. When you see people such as Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg exposing government censorship and donating $1 million to the Trump inauguration, as has Amazon magnate Jeff Bezos, you know the jig is up for Democrats.

Americans seem eager to return to faith, family and freedom and to stand up to woke bullies here and enemies abroad.

Mr. Trump reportedly has 100 executive orders ready for Day One. It’s time to wake up from a four-year bad dream.
