Election 2024: President of the United States of America
Written by David E. Smith
As you know, our choices for the President of the United States (POTUS) are either Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald J. Trump. It is a choice between the continuation of the Biden-Harris Administration or a return to the policies of the Trump Administration.
Under a Harris-Walz administration, we can expect big government mandates that will promote taxpayer funding of unrestricted abortion on-demand, transgenderism (even for inmates), housing, food and healthcare for illegal immigrants, and free college tuition and student loans wiped clean. We can expect tax dollars to be used to subsidize the Big Green industrial complex: electric cars, solar panels and wind farms too.
The Harris-Walz administration will continue to advance the trans agenda as they have already been doing. Kamala Harris was the first VP to host a drag queen event at the presidential residence and an LGBTQ event at her home. Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) signed a bill requiring tampons be placed in girls and boys school bathrooms in Minnesota.
We can expect a Harris-Walz administration to use the U.S. Department of Justice to promote so-called “civil rights” of biological men in sports, to prosecute Christian pro-life sidewalk counselors, and to promote (or mandate) DEI policies across all federal agencies.
And because they support allowing transgenders in the military, can you imagine how many other woke policies will be mandated on the U.S. Department of Defense in a Harris-Walz administration and how it will soften (or destroy) military readiness?
On the other hand, we have heard Donald Trump repeatedly promise to secure the border, stop the invasion of foreign nationals and deport criminal aliens when he takes office. He has also talked about revisiting policies like ending birthright citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants and re-imposing a travel ban on certain countries.
Trump has repeatedly highlighted the migrant crime problem and promises to fight drug cartels and gang violence with a strong law enforcement approach.
Trump has promised to make America the dominant energy producer by rolling back environmental regulations and promoting fossil fuels, effectively canceling policies like the electric vehicle mandate.
While Democrats and their allies in the media deny any election fraud, Trump has advocated for same-day voting, voter ID, paper ballots, and proof of citizenship to help bring integrity to the voting and counting process.
Trump has proposed significant tax cuts, particularly for workers, wants to eliminate taxes on tips, and aims to make America affordable again by ending inflation.
Finally, Trump has pledged to strengthen the military to ensure that it remains the most powerful military in the world; modernize defense capabilities; and potentially deploy a missile defense system like an “Iron Dome” for the U.S.
America must have strong leadership that is respected around the world. Leadership that puts America first. While he is far from perfect, and he has retreated on some important pro-life issues, the board of directors and I highly recommend that Christian conservatives choose to vote for Donald J. Trump on (or before) November 5th. He is the far better option.
